My typical workday includes lunch time. So I check in in the morning, check out a while after noon, check in again one hour later and check out after I've done 8 hours of work.
The attendance reports in Zoho Cliq count only the first checkin and the last checkout. If I do 8 hours of real work and check out for 1 hour of lunch, the attendance report counts 9 hours. You can see it in the following attendance log, where all days should have a blank period around 3 pm, but it doesn't show, and the total sum of hours worked is in excess.
If the report showed the checkin and checkout info I actually recorded into the system, it should look similar to this:
This makes the attendance data useless. My company cannot have a fixed work schedule, we can't simply substract one hour out of each day. The attendance report shows only the time I started working and the time I finished working, but it doesn't show how long I actually worked, and at what times I was actually available. If I have to produce real worked time reports, I can't use this.
Is there any way to make this information right? Thank you.
