Zoho Developer Hangout (ZDH) - Episode 13 | Zoho CRM and Zoho Creator Integration

Hello everyone,

Zoho CRM offers flexibility for businesses to tailor it precisely according to their unique requirements. However, even the best suits may need a few extra accessories. That's where Zoho Creator steps in. When integrated with Zoho CRM, it extends the platform's capabilities, allowing you to build custom applications, forms, and views, transforming them into custom tabs within the CRM interface. Think of it as the stylish pocket square that completes the look.

In this episode, our MVP, Damien, provides an introduction to Deluge scripting and its role in creating integrations between Zoho Creator and Zoho CRM. He delves into the intricacies of fetching records from Creator within CRM and vice versa, as well as creating and updating records in both platforms.

Damien's previous experience of working with some of the world's largest multinationals and their IT teams led him to consider how software development should be much easier. He is the founder and CEO of bcCloudTech Ltd. who are also a Zoho Authorized Partner. He has 13 years of experience providing solutions via the Zoho suite of products, primarily focusing on Zoho Creator, although as Zoho has expanded its product line-up, it is rarely solely Creator anymore. During his initial exposure to Zoho Creator and Deluge, Damien used the forums extensively to learn and has been a contributor himself since. In 2019, Damien's contribution to the community was acknowledged as he was made the MVP.
