Zoho is great! I just started using it and the range, depth and functionality of the apps is excellent.
BUT I find the lack of a proper overview (like a Desktop or Workspace) really frustrating. The Account login suggests using Mail for an "integrated view" but at the moment I am not even using the Mail application very much. The closest thing is the Dashboard view but again this is tucked away within Mail, where it really does not belong.
I'd like to see the Dashboard (Desktop, Workspace, Cockpit or whatever) come up immediately you log in to your account with an overview of the documents and apps you use.
I have to say that I also find the whole site very "messy". For a start, once you are in an application there is almost no way to get back to the Zoho home page. with practically every other web site you can at least click on the company logo to do this. Once you are on the home page there is a confusing mix of advertising , new features, apps, comments, and, and... Uncle Tom Cobley would be proud! I know you want to cram everything in but after a certain point it just becomes counter-productive. The way the applications are classified (e.g. Business or Productivity) is another point, which I feel could be rethought to meke it clearer.
It's easier said than done, but please: Simplicity, Structure, Order - so that even idiots lik myself can find their way around more easily.
Zoho is great! I'm only writing this because it's so good already - but not quite perfect yet.
