Zoho Show 3.0 Update : New Features and enhancements

We launched Zoho Show 3.0 to general public 4 months ago and since then we have been fixing bugs and adding new features.

Here are some of the important features added :

Export to PDF
You can now download/export to PDF format. In the earlier version of Zoho Show, the PDF output had slides as images. But in the current release, we have taken great care to export the presentation content to PDF format. The PDF output exactly resembles the presentation output you see in the browsers. So creating brochures is now lot more easier with Zoho Show.
IPhone App for Zoho Show - ShowMote
We released an IPhone App for Zoho Show, ShowMote. The app works in tandem with Zoho Show to provide wire-free mobility when you are delivering your presentation. Basically your IPhone acts as a remote to your laptop. The app can be downloaded from ITunes Store :

Enhancements in Embedded presentations
We have made some much needed enhancements to the embedded presentations.

The embed toolbar now sports a nicer look and feel.
We have refined and improved the embed options further. You'll now be able to easily get a custom embed code for your presentations.
You can click on the "More Options" from the Publish dialog to customize your embed code.

Enhancements in Broadcast mode
Broadcast mode already has lots of handy features like request/revoke control, real-time chat, presenter notes that enables a presenter to give remote presentations easily. We have further enhanced the broadcast mode with a few more features :

Laser Pointer support - Allows the presenter to pinpoint this ideas in the presentation using a laser pointer. The remote audiences instantly see the laser point moving across the slide. It gives a visual appeal to the overall slide/presentation.
To highlight a paragraph or a shape double click on it. The shape/paragraph will animate for the presenter and the remote audiences. It acts as a great visual aid while you're presenting remotely.

Support for viewing presentations in Andriod based phones
We have removed support for IE 6, 7 & 8 completely.

Today's update takes Zoho Show to the next level. It now sports a consistent look and feel as Zoho Writer and Zoho Sheet.

Today's update includes :

Show 2.0 Migration

All your old presentations will now open only in the new editor. They are automatically migrated to the new Show 3.0 format .
The embedded old presentations in web-sites/blogs will also be automatically converted to the new format.
Versions of the Show 2.0 presentations are not migrated to the new format.

Listing and Managing your files

The listing page is now removed . The default listing page will be Zoho Docs very soon. Currently you'll be presented with the following page as soon as you login to Zoho Show :
To open your existing presentations , you will have to click on File->Open from the File menu
Share dialog is now simplified and it's now consistent with Writer and Sheet.
We have removed the published presentation listing too. Your published presentation will take you to the slideshow mode directly.

Presentation Editing

Morph your images into beautiful shapes. Crop it, recolor, apply shadow and reflection. Make your images stunning and interesting.
You can now duplicate shapes in a single click. Right click on the selected shape and duplicate
Editor area can now be maximized for larger editing view
