Mapping Zoho Subscription Plans and Products to CRM and Books
We have products that are one time products and subscription products. 1) We would like to have the ability to create an opportunity in CRM that includes both one-time charge products and subscription products. Currently the only way of creating a subscription product is by defining a "Product->Plan" hierarchy in Zoho Subscription. It appears that the only SYNC between Subscription and CRM is around contacts and the Product->Plan hierarchy doesn't sync to CRM, thus, you would need a duplicate
Custom Field for Subscription
Hi, I can't find a way to add a custom field (to contain a license key generated from our software) against a subscription? Is the only place to add this information in the Invoice module (as custom field for invoice)? When a customer views his subscription via the customer portal, there appears no way to display a license key for them? The invoice is not the natural place to store a license key for a particular subscription, so where else can this be stored and displayed?

I noticed that by default, when a customer receives an invoice, it does not contain any information about any unpaid balance due on previous invoices. Is there any way to enable this? How Do I Not Require a Credit Card on Hosted Payment Page
Your own marketing says that requiring a customer to enter a credit card for a trial reduces the chance that people will sign up. I can't find any way to not require the user put in a credit card. This should be an easy setting. The only references I see in the forum say that you can't use the hosted payment page. This is such a basic feature that this makes no sense to me. What is the workaround? If there is no way to not require the credit card, I would have a free trial as a plan but I don't see

It seems embed widget DOES NOT offer a feature, where users can choose options upon subscribing plans. What Zoho has instead, is that admins have to manually create plan with options. How come no one in Zoho dev team never raised issue about usability

Suppose I sell web hosting. Every time someone subscribes to a plan, I want to add the web site domain so it can be automatically configured when I get the subscription_created event from Zoho subscription. If that person takes 5 extra emails as add-ons, where could I store those emails to be created automatically? We can add custom fields to customers, and invoices, but not to subscriptions. It is not possible to cancel a subscription when a customer has an outstanding balance. Should this be so, or is it some kind of setup issue? It will cause problems for us as we will want to cancel subscriptions on non-payers. Thank you for update on this.
