I don't know since when the Notifications sound in zoho chat become so loud it really hurt my ears. how can i turn the volume down? (ie has no such problem, just chrome) I am using windows

I'm in need of a multi-user chat environment with a typing indicator (by which I mean, something that says "so-and-so is typing" when someone is typing) which works with multiple users in a chat (not just 1-on-1 IMs.) Can I do this with any sort of zoho chat?

Message: Unable to connect chat server... Connecting...
There is a highlighted message at the bottom of my email window that says "Unable to connect chat server...", and then it says something like "Connecting" or "Trying to connect". I don't want to connect to a chat server... I don't want to see that highlighted message there all the time... and I've found no way to get rid of it. It's kind of alarming. How to add new users
Hi, What do I click on to add a new chat user to my subscription from https://chat.zoho.com? I don't understand the process to add users. Is each employee supposed to sign up for their own chat account? If so, how do you link the users together on the subscription? Thanks.
Sound settings
We are using zoho chat to receive questions on our iPads. Although the settings are selected to make a sound when messages are received I don't hear anything. Senders do hear a sound on their pcs when they receive our replies.

Does zoho live support (chat) integrate with zoho crm? 1. We want to be able to create and manage leads/contacts while working in Live Support. Is there a way to do this? 2. We want to be able to associate the chat record with the contact (along with emails and phone calls), so we can later have a full picture of the communications. Is there a way to do this? 3. We are really looking for an enterprise class livesupport integration (like salesforce + liveperson). Is this something we can do in zoho?
Problem with connecting to incoming calls
I've set up a Group to answer enquiries from a widget on our home web page. Zoho Chat has been great but a couple of staff have reported difficulty recently with connecting to incoming calls. I have noticed that ZOHO Chat can be embedded. This is great. I can add Chat to my website and use the main board on my computer to relate and chat with visitors to my site. Desktop alerts stopped working
Desktop alerts are no longer working for us. We run them on Chrome. For a while, no matter what browser (for example Firefox or IE), we were in, as long as Chrome was open and logged into our account, the desktop notifications would appear when we got a new chat. Now, even if Chrome is on top or the only one open, if we are in another tab other then the one logged into chat, the notifications don't appear. What might be going on? We are all running Windows 7. I would like to know all the available security features of Zoho chat. I have seen that it uses SSL encryption. Can chat logging be turned off locally? Are all chat logs available to the administrator, or only support chats? Are logged chats stored on Zoho's servers anywhere? Can Zoho chat be used with other OTR-enabled clients like Pidgin and Adium? Thanks.
Are customers able to access Zoho Chat?
I am evaluating Zoho for use in our customer care center and have a question about the chat. I see where it seems to be specifically created to be an internal chat between colleagues and groups. The majority of our customer contact will be online chats so I need to know if this internal chat can be utilized as a Website chat program or do we need to fine a compatible, integratable 3rd party chat program? Since I am on a free trial I cannot test the PhoneBridge add-on but if anyone has this feature

when I use Chrome, i do not have problems sending IM chats to other staff. but others who use internet explorer cannot send or reply. When I hit enter on Chrome it sends out the reply/msg. When they hit enter in ie, it returns and goes to a new line. how can a user of ie use the chat function within the zohomail dashboard?
Ideas for Zoho Chat improvement
For what it's worth, here I intend to list my ideas as a rather recent Zoho adept: It would be great if Zoho Chat could “remember” which service tab was selected the last time, and load this tab automatically when the chat tab loads. And could there be an option to make the chat status of the services visible inside the Mail tab? Maybe at the bottom, like the message counters. zoho chat - desktop notification
Am I missing something? Great I embed a support chat in my wiki and website Easy to use... except I have to be on the zoho chat browser window to notice that someone has joined. Even if I am on another zoho page. The firefox plugin doesn't notify about a new chat starting (ie. someone types in their name in the embedded chat and awaits to be let in). Logo Display Problem in IE8 + IE9
For some reason Internet Explorer 8 and 9 shows our company logo stretched. Firefox and Chrome do not do this... I have tried multiple resolutions and logos, all with the same result. Chatbar frame + a second chatbar inside
Hello. I'm having an issue with the Zoho chatbar popping up twice on my screen. I'll explain. To log into Zoho, I use mail.zoho.com. This would guarantee that all my available apps would be displayed to the left side of my screen. At the very bottom of my screen is my chatbar. Just by looking at it, I can only surmise that these are displayed in frames. Now when I click on either the CRM or People apps, it loads them in the middle of the screen. Basic stuff, right? User can see me as a contact but I can't see them.
They can chat with me by clicking my name in thier contacts but I cannot initiate a chat because its not listed in my contacts. I have tried to add via zoho id and email address many times. It says contact added successfully but it never shows in contact list. And when he starts a chat with me it shows his name a s 'rick'. In his account and with other chat contacts, his full name appears.

Zoho Groups not working
Hi all. Recently added my first Group to my zoho chat, and it isn't as functional as I'd hoped it to be. 1. The chat window does not receive chat messages, most of the time 2. It will work intermittently, once or twice a day, with a few lines of conversation making it to the chat box, then stop again I am the only one in the office that this is happening to, other users are fine so I dont believe it's the group set up. Added Zoho groups through an invitation link, and when that didn't work well
Chat on the side navigation please
I like Zoho's side navigation system. Is there any way we could get the Chat function to be placed in the side navigation pane? It's not an earth-shattering problem, but I find it mildly annoying that I have to go to the top menu and then pick Chat to view the main Chat area. Interestingly, when I am in the main Chat area, Chat does appear in the side navigation area. Please fix this. Thank you. - Bal

Deleted Contacts
I noticed that some of my contacts has been missing. But I could see a pop up message every time they change actions (available, busy, change shout out etc.) But when I tried to add them again a message stating that they already exist in my contact list. Attached is the copy of the said error.
