Zoho Business doesn't have Projects?
Zoho Business is exactly what I need for my organization, EXCEPT that it doesn't have projects! I don't understand why Business doesn't have Projects, because it seems like it's such a basic part of running a business... that you would have projects. Am I possibly missing something? Is there actually a way to create a project in Zoho Business? I don't want to have the members of my organization create an account for Zoho Business for all of the useful things that it has, and ALSO for Zoho ProjectMigrating from WebEx Office Intranet to Zoho Business
The not-for-profit I belong to has been using WebEx Office (formerly Intranets.com) for over 5 years for shared documents, shared projects, simple contact management and forums as well as online presentations and teleconferencing. However, while we get a good deal from WebEx, there has been little or no development of the Intranet product since it was acquired by WebEx (and now Cisco). For example, the Forum has no threading, no email notification of posts, no formatting, embedded images etc. TheZoho on IntraNet
Is there any way to get Zoho so that it is not running on the internet, but rather an intranet? I don't want all of my data exposed to the interenet. I'd like to host it on a server in house. Is there another application that would let me do that? I'm trying to get out from under the thumb of Microsoft, but everyone seems to be rushing to put their data out on the Web. That doesn't seem smart to me. I have legal obligations for the data that I'm responsible for. For all I know, the staff at ZohoFinetuning the 'Quote' option
Currently, I observe the 'Quote' is quoting the full message. Can you extend it so that it can be used to quote only sections of the originla message similar to those in forums like http://www.codeproject.com/ That would be more user-friendly right and help the answerer to address the asker's question more precisely.Will Zoho satisfy my needs?
Hi all, I have been trying to get this information from the Zoho site and just can't seem to find a direct answer - well there isn't probably one for my question... Instead of me programming my own web application I think Zoho can suit all my needs. I currently have multiple clients who log in and perform daily tasks of data entry via forms etc. Would it be possible to provide security for Group/User management using Zoho? In zoho forum file attachment downloads, it would be better if downloads from own (self) account are not counted. Extending this further, it would also be better to disallow view counting for own post. You can check this against the thread author and logged on user. Isn't it? Currently, as soon as you post the thread, the view count shows as 1, when the expected should be only 0 because the self count is also included.Possibly incorrect tooltip in Zoho Forums
In Zoho forums, the auto preview icon (+) and (-) both are having the tooltip as 'Open'. I believe the latter should have 'Close' right? See screenshot attached.Points Scheme to Encourage Forum Participation

I was posting a bug in Zoho Challenge and because of slow Internet Connection or accidental inadvertant dual posting, the post with the subject "'Logon Prompt' even after logging on" is appearing twice. I just observed from the partners page http://www.zoho.com/partners.html there are email addresses like partners @zoho and resellers @zoho Having a full email address with active mailto hyperlinks is actually hosting a feast for spammers who run spambots to run through the Internet and harvesting email address patterns. I would suggest at least replacing @ with (at) or a similar trick to avoid getting zoho email addresses into spammers' catalog.Possibly Incorrect Button Caption in ZAPP Partners Page
The ZAPP Page http://www.zoho.com/partners.html has the button value as 'save'. Trying to create an application that uses a table to auto-gen new records based upon a date. Something like an automatic system reminder tool that says "every 3 weeks, create a new request (or db record)". Is there way to call a process periodically to generate these records? Am trying to decide about utilizing apps in Z Creator or Z DB & Reports. Am currently engaged to deliver a Drupal solution, which would greatly benefit with some Zoho functionality. Having spent some time evaluating Zoho in order to determine best integration practices; I'm still not sure whether this should be attempted. Has anyone tried integrating the two? Even if its not at a deep SSO/role/group management level, are there any work-arounds you would recommend? Hi, not sure if I'm posting in the right place... I'd like to see an addition to the Zoho product range: personal accounting software. Something with the functionality of Quicken or Microsoft Money, but web-based. I simply want to keep a record of income and expenditure so that I know what I'm spending my money on, what payments are due in the future (e.g. monthly bills for things like water rates, local taxes etc. - you get the picture). Hi there everybody I'm using the project manager plus to a litle project in my company so we can manage our resources . We work above all with ornamental rocks for bath rooms , kitchens , stuff like that and we d like to now if someone ever tried to insert an alert in this product .... I see you use wordpress for your own blog on zoho. Have you thought of using wordpress mu (multiuser) as a new zoho service? WPMU can support a vast number of blogs and provide good security features for hosts and users. Plus it uses google gears. Whats the point? well, single login is one advantage and centralisation of all my stuff is another. Plus it would be nice to be able to 'blog this' directly from other apps. Signing up to Zoho CRM needs a login Email ID, and signing up to other Zoho application needs a username and an Email address. For example: I first created a Zoho CRM account with a Email ID myname@mydomain.com. Then I couldn't creat a Zoho appication account with the same email address. I have left posts about this previously which were originally answered but then all support staff disappeared... so here we go again: I am running Office 2003 and have downloaded the Zoho plug-in, which is giving me endless issues: 1. For Word / writer it doesn't work at all 2. For Excel / Sheet it uploads the file but in parallel changes the Excel File name (but not the Sheet File name). Then, if I make changes in Excel and try to save them to Sheet, I get a message saying there is no workbook byZoho Forum in IE8
FYI...I Know that IE8 is in beta, etc. However, just for reference, when I log into Zoho Forums in IE8, after I type in my login info, IE8 opens up another tab as soon as I click on "login" - then it opens up a third tab with the forum. So it goes like this: I open ZForum in tab1, I type my info, click login and it opens tab2, then continues to process and finally opens tab3 with my login info. Tabs 1 & 2 are still open, but I am only logged in on Tab 3. Weird bug.Zoho Survey

One of my clients recommended Zoho to me. I installed the Zoho plug-in for Microsoft Office 2003. It never worked, keeps telling there is an error. I am ont trying to remove it from my computer. I have tried over hundreds of times. The Zoho bar still there on my Microsoft Word. Is Zoho a scam? Can anybody here help me remove it? I tried "Run as Administrator" on Word and uncheck the "Zoho Writer Word Add-in" and tried almost I can find on the internet, it just like a virus and cannot be removed.Number of Users per Apps

When I click on "my posts" in the forums and then scroll down to view them, often when I click I get a blank "AdventNet" window that pops up in FF3 and I get a "diagnose connection problem" error in IE7 and IE8. This happens about 75% of the time I try to view my posts using that way of finding them. If I scroll through the forums and click that way, I don't have that issue. Notes: I have tried this on 3 different computers using 3 different browsers: FF3, IE7 & IE8. I have also cleared cookies &Message with Hyperlinks Waiting for Moderation Still
