Improving Outlook Plug in- add a manual refresh of Side Panel
The Outlook Plugin Side Pane is so slow with jerky screen refreshes, it is unusable. So it gets disabled by most users. Why not make an option for a manual refresh instead of constantly trying to keep up as users move through their email. It could allow you to view your emails normally, but when you wanted to augment one with more info from Zoho CRM, you click on a button for the side pane to appear and pull data. Sorry if my title is unclear, but I noticed a strange disconnect in the way Zoho CRM integrates with Office 365 that could be changed to make things much more easier to setup. Currently, we have Office 365 integration for Calendar and Contacts in the Marketplace > Microsoft area of our settings. Additionally, we can connect our Office 365 Email in the Channels > Email section of our settings. Hello, The nature of my business requires the use of MMS picture messaging to allow potential customers the ability to send photos for us to evaluate before they send something in for repair. We have a Gmail account with an assigned Google voice number that receives these photos. Hi, I'm testing out the Outlook CRM plugin, I was wondering does anyone know if it is possible to create an event under a lead/contacts name from the outlook calendar, I can create the event in CRM under their name and then this syncs with my outlook calendar but ideally what I would like is that I create it in outlook, then searches the email and associates that event under the lead in CRM. Sometimes we get emails that relate to an existing client or deal that aren't necessarily from that client. If I add the email to the CRM, it will automatically create a new client - which isn't correct. Currently the workaround I'm using is saving emails and dragging them into the attachments section of a deal. Hi Zoho, I have tried each cloud integration and found funny glitches about each one of them. Ultimately, I am using dropbox. My only complaint about dropbox is how it acts when you convert leads to contacts. You windup with two user folders - one in the leads bucket and one in the contacts bucket, and the documents which were in leads stay there and won't appear anywhere else unless you move them over to the contact. I know that there has been discussion about Skype integration with Zoho and want to add a couple additional considerations to the development and enhancement of the application. Setting the Country Code should be a default in the Organization Settings of Zoho CRM. This would simply be an addition of one field that could be customized for each user, and could easily be concatenated with the phone number of the Lead/Contact. Can "EMAIL 2" from Outlook be added as part of the sync tool to "Secondary Email" in ZOHO? Since both fields already exist, it would be a simple code change to add the fields. Today, over 90% of Customer Contacts have more than one email similar to Work, Mobile and Home phone. This lack of functionality requires a lot more time to custom add additional emails to almost every contact you sync. Maybe this has already been suggested - but I would like to see the new IMAP feature in Zoho CRM pull from "All Mail" instead of just the Inbox and Sent Messages of my email client. Hi. We have just started using the twilio integration with crm and find that we have to type the same notes over and over and over on a call. Many emails are sent to multiple people, either all in the To field or in the CC field. There is no way to sync a single email to multiple users using the Outlook plug-in - the plug-in shows a string like this, but will not sync to it: name.one@company.com;name.two@company.com;name.three@company.com Using this example, if I want that email to show up in each recipient's CRM record, I have to sync it three separate times, one for each contact. Hi, MailMagnet is a great idea, in fact, thats only the reason I'm using Zoho. It looked like such a great tool but there's several shortcomings. I'm going to list a few and see if anyone reaches out. 1. Create Unique Icon for MailMagnet. The standard envelope mail icon is confusing and lazy. Spruce it up a bit so I don't just glance over it. Hello, it is happening to me quite often that I have e-mail conversation not related to Contact itself or Potential, but to Campaign, Product or Company ... would it be possible to enable e-mail imports also to these modules? I have been a heavy Salesforce.com user in the past and used a third-party plugin called LinkPoint360 for outlook that integrated with Salesforce.com. ZOHO has some similar features as LinkPoint; however one of the features that is extremely useful is the ability to highlight the contacts business card info and then drag it to either create a lead, contact or account and contact. Hi I would like to propose the ability to upload photos / attachments via the Phone Apps to Zoho CRM. A simple thing like a contact's photo for example I would think is a very simple benefit of putting the App onto a phone. I have my Outlook folders including my calendar set to archive every 60 days. When I sync the calendar using the plugin events that have been archived in Outlook are deleted in Zoho. I'd like these items to stay in Zoho, so that I have a log for instance of all the meetings I've had with a client.
