Capturing emails and automatically add to potentials
Hi All Currently we dont use the email function with Zoho. We have moved from Sugarcrm which allows us to create a generic email address, eg companyname@sugarcloud.eu and all emails sent to that email account which had a customer email address listed in sugar, were automatically attached to the customer record. We do not want to use zoho for our email and still want to use outlook. We also dont want every email attaching to the contact in zoho. I've been told that Zoho doesnt have this type of
Associate a Web to Case form with an existing Account or Contact
Cases are associated with Accounts through the Account Look-up field. When building a case form to publish on the web, how can I architect it such that I associate the incoming Case record with an existing Account or Contact (Account Look-up field not an option to place on the form)? If I put the email field on the case form, will Zoho CRM match it to an Account/ contact that way?
Allow for changing list order.
The default sort order is not helpful. If there is a workaround, it's far to cumbersome to be used on a routine basis. I'd like to see a simple drop down list for LEADS, ACCOUNTS, CONTACT and POTENTIALS that allows for changing the default sort order to NAME ascending or descending. Even when reducing the list by selecting letters A-Z at the bottom of the screen, the sort order is still date driven.
Exporting Notes Fields
Hi, Is there any way of exporting Lead Notes as well as other Lead information? I have created a report to include name, address etc. but cannot find a way to include any notes I have added. Many thanks Nicola

Notes not being updated across different views
In the new CRM View, i find all my pending tasks are not being reflected, esp long overdue ones. Secondly in the CRM View, i open a customer task and update the notes, the same is not updated in the mobile phone version. Anyone else found this problem ?

The current Zoho CRM issues are as follows, 11-5-2014: 1. Can't get the QuickBooks synch to work - a. A security error occurs when trying to create a QWC file with Chrome browser. b. Great product. I have a small question: no matter what I put in the "from" field in an email template, the email arrives at the recepient with the email address of the main administrator that opened the account. I am trying to write a "thank you for contacting us" automatic email in reply to a web form, and am unsuccessfully trying to put our customer support email there. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks
BCC Dropbox

email notification for new leads
I currently have my website "contact us" for configured to drop into my ZOHO CRM account. I originally had it set up so that when a lead landed in my ZOHO account I would receive and email notice so that I could follow up immediately. The leads are still coming to my ZOHO account but I am no longer receiving the email notice? Can anyone tell me how to turn this feature back on? Using FREE edition and PAID edition CRM
Is it possible for other users to use FREE Edition and the administrator will use the PAID edition to consolidate all the data? We prefer to use the FREE edition because this users will only input the Leads, Account, and Potentials. The administrator will be the one to consolidate all the data and generate the reports and other field like Products etc.
Add Task to Multiple Prospeects
Hello and TYIA, Is it possible to add a task to multiple prospects? For example: I am running a direct mail campaign and I want it to go to 100 prospects for the next 5 weeks. I can create a task "send mailing" and make it recurring every Monday for the next 5 weeks. I want to attach that task to the first 100 prospects in my list without recreating it for EVERY prospect. Searching for accounts
Hi all, When searching for accounts I encounter multiple problems. First, the accounts are not in an alphabetical order but rather in the order I last changed/edited them. I want to change that but how? Second, my search layout clearly states that I only want to search for accounts with my search option. But when typing e.g. "Cambridge" I get both account names holding the name "Cambridge" in the account name and accounts domiciled in "Cambridge". Please clear this issue. Thanks, Lars

Add a note... causes extra clicks
My staff has recently been complaining about the new "add a note..." default text in the notes field in Zoho CRM. Prior to this feature, we could put our cursor in the notes field and either type in our notes or paste in our own notes. Now, we must select the "add a note..." text and delete it first. Because so many of my staff members are used to the first way, many of our notes now start with the words "add a note...." Can this be fixed?
Calendar and scheduling / completing calls
Hi, I want to be able to go into my day. See my activities. Then, as I complete them, I want to schedule a new task. When I do this, I keep having to change screens. Plus, after I've completed a task, it still shows up on my list of activities to do, even though I already completed it? So, I keep going back to to the same tasks. Macro does not associate Account to Contact
This is so basic... when I run a macro, the Account does not associate to the Contact so that when I'm looking at the Activity rollup, I can't tell what Account the Contact belongs to; not to mention that the information in the Task is incomplete.
Changing a text field to email field (across all records in the CRM)
Hi, When I set up my CRM I made some emails fields simple text fields for some reason so it's simple text with no hyperlink. I'd like to change all of them so the hyperlink shows up that allows quick composition of emails. Is it possible to change this now? Or do I have to manually enter them all in again? Creating additional notes area
Hi, just curious if I can clone the Notes area so we have two identical notes areas. The point of this would be to have internal notes (with time stamps) viewable to our team internally. Then we could have a second notes area (with time stamps) that we could use for profiles of users who need to view only very limited areas of our database. They would have access to Notes 2 (for example) but not Notes area 1. A simple text area as a solution wouldn't be ideal because there is no time stamp/user

Hi, Is it possible to organize leads and/or contacts in Zoho? I'm using Zoho CRM. Sometimes I'd like to send a mass email to a specific group of leads/contacts under a certain category. But there seems to be no way for me to initially categorize my leads/contacts. Thank you.
Problem when converting lead. Information in "closed activities" and "notes" fields is not carried over to the new account.

1000 Contact Limitation --> ZOHO CRM Professional?

Issues with Audit Log & Task visibility
So I'm trialing the Zoho CRM Professional Edition, and am the Adminstrator for our account with 3 users. I'm concerned that the Audit Log is not showing the creation of a new Contact [by me], but is showing the creation of a Task for that Contact by a user. Also, if I click onto the details of the particular Contact, then I don't see any Activities for the Contact - but if the user clicks onto the Contact, they see the Task they created. Surely as the Administrator & CEO I should be able to see

Web form notifications not working - urgent resolution needed
A recently created web form is not emailing notifications to me or the person who filled the form in and not entering the entry as a lead into Zoho. Everything is set up correctly. This is business critical and I'm getting no response from Zoho support by email or phone.

Hello. How are you doing with leads without personal contact. I mean You know webpage of company and general e-mail. For you this company is lead (you will contact in the future, intent to reach person who is responsible for decision making and etc.). How you fill Lead? Or are you filling account instead?
