Zoho Plugin - Word 2007 - "An Error occured while Connecting Zoho Writer."
(Apologies if this has been entered into the wrong forum) 1. Installed Zoho Plugin (downloaded from here: http://www.zoho.com/zohoplugin/home.html) 2. When I login to Zoho Writer from within Word I receive the following Security Warning: 3. Hit 'Yes' I receive the following error window: I have to hit Yes or No another time to get out of this. (I can provide you with more specific info if required) 3. I save a copy of a Word doc locally as a word 97 - 2003 document 4. Then I hit Zoho Writer's save
I would like to know how to create a web page from a document I have created.
This is very easy to do on Google docs. I thought it would be here, but I cannot work out how to do it. (Actually I thought I had asked this question here yesterday, but today there is no sign of it.)
Issue with pasting content from pasteboard
I am using Safari in Mac OS X 10.6. When I try to copy and past in zoho writer it is not working, looking like this issue is specific to Safari in Mac OS X. Why do we have to "import to writer" from Zoho docs?
It seems like Zoho docs and Writer could be more integrated than they are. It took me forever to figure out that you have to import a document specifically to Zoho writer, and that the document won't show up in the "open" feature in Zoho writer until you do so. You'd think that the folders in Zoho writer would correspond with the folders in Docs. That certainly seems to be the intuitive thing. I was quite surprised to find out that this was not the case, and am still somewhat confused about the degree
Publishing and Changing account name
I am trying to find out how to publish a spreadsheet document so I can see it on my site. Can free users do this like with google docs? I see screenshots with "publish" between share and tag, but it's not there when I access my account. Also, I signed up a long time ago and I want to change my account name but keep my email address. How do I do this?
Placeable table of content
hi people if i insert the table of content it is placed at the top of document i wanna place it at page 3 the index should be placeable at custom site.. or in other words after a custom amount of page breaks as in google docs the table of content title should be formatable actualy if i insert the table of content at a custom place by html edit it will be placed at the top of document again after a refresh this should be changed and i wanna get the title in H1 format ... this should be more customable

this zoho docs really needs redone. its so confusing. google doc's is much better and easier. you can share folders easier. my employes have to search for things and click all these tabs to get to what they want. Not digging the workspace thing!

selecting files in sorted view not working
It does not seem possible to select (check) files or documents in the Zoho docs explorer tab view, when I click ant the name, date created or folder column header. (i.e. select them for tagging) It works before I sort the files by date modified or don't sort them at all. Selecting files also does not work in search view (search results)

Hello, I uploaded excel document that has 3 sheets. I want to share this document with others but first sheet should be editable and other two just for review. I know that there is should be somewhere this option but I can't find it anywhere.

Hi, I just discovered Zoho docs. It looks very promising. However, is there a way to automatically synchronize files or folders whenever a change is made to them online or on one of my hard drives (like with dropbox.com)? Group Sharing of Docs & Folders
Is there a way to share not only individual documents, but the complete content of "My Documents" with all of the folders & sub folders & their content? Limited to zipping 5 documents? Are you serious?
So I'm trying to archive all of our documents, and not seeing a way to bulk archive everything. So now I am trying to see if zipping will actually select everything when I "select all" on a given page. And now to add insult to injury I get a message that says I cannot zip more than 5 documents at a time without upgrading my account. Are you kidding me. The comparison matrix shows that zipping is provided for all types of accounts. Secondly, zip is open source and you're attaching a cash register
Archive All / Export All. And I mean ALL documents I have stored.
How do I "select all" and then either "export all" or "archive all". I don't mean just selecting the list of documents shown at a given time on the monitor, but all documents that I have. I have seen this referenced as a "roadmap" item since 2007 but don't see a resolution or a way to do it in Zoho Docs.

Long workspace name is not possible now. New groups aren't accessible.
Dear Zoho Docs Team, I've just returned to Zoho Workspaces and tried to create a new one. Unfortunately, i got a new problem: now i can't create workspaces with names more then 12 characters. Why?! We use full names of the department/groups for workspace names (e.g Finance department), so that restriction breaks our work. I'm wondering what you were thinking about while creating this. Another problem: i created a new group, added few users there and now i'm trying to share workspace to that group.
Documents lose formatting
Is there a way to HOLD FORMATTING by allowing a document NOT to re-size with the window? As in web pages, some FREEZE the size of the page some move with the size of the window. ZOHO Docs moves with the frame of the window so formatting is consistent. Is there a feature to FREEZE the page? Stephen
EDIT SHEET feature
Why do I sometimes see EDIT SHEET feature and sometimes not. This seems inconsistent or am i doing something wrong? When EDIT SHEET is there, you can open the sheet in a FULL SCREEN mode which is very helpful. Stephen

Error Occured - in workspaces and share documents
I have shared some spreadsheets with my workspaces and also via sharing individually - when the other person tries to open them they say Error Occured and you can do nothing with it. I have tried putting in 2007 and 2003 excell versions. Can you please help Deanna

I love the idea of dividing work into workspaces, but there are 2 things that I can't find and would think would be huge as for as business use. 1. Be able to disable export in all docs. (Complicated sheets with VBA can't just be given away at will, just like I wouldn't expect all features/apps of Zoho to be free) 2. Hide formulas in Zoho Sheet. (there is an option for this when sharing with Zoho Sheet, but I don't see it available when using WorkSpace. Am I missing something, or could this be

Is it possible to create sub-folders under a "Group" in Documents?
I have an organization with a group set up to share documents. Is it possible to create sub-folders under that group? When I try to create a new folder, it just creates it under my own folders instead of under the group. Is there a better way to do this? I have a group of users, a marketing group, that needs to have access to files. these files need to be separated by type. Should I set it up another way, maybe in a Workspace? thanks, Scott
confused about groups
I've created a spreadsheet that i want other people to be able to read/write. So, do I need to create a group and add the email addresses to that group. Then invite them to read/write the spreadsheet? Everyone needs to be able to see everything others have added. Is this correct? I posted a link to my website, which brings up the spreadsheet, but it says it won't save the changes. I don't get it!
New workspace user not getting share status
I have added a new user to a workspace and invited them to join the workspace, but they cannot access the documents in the sub folders I added them as a new user, selected them in the invite dialogue and followed the email link back.
