I am just beginning to use Zoho and I am a little uncertain as to how I get my kids to collaborate on a document. For example, a student types an essay in Zoho and then saves. He clicks to share his document. Is the next step to enter the e-mail address of the students with whom he is sharing? Our district has policies that do not allow students to use e-mail while in school. Is there a way to bypass this feature, if they are required to access the shard document from the e-mail account? Greetings: When you import a ODT document with image frames Zoho strips the frames, wherein such frames are maintained in DOC files. Zoho also converts DOC files with animated GIFs into plain PNGs, wherein ODT files with animated GIFs remain intact and operational. Keep up the great work! I'm working on a Zoho Show presentation that I want to save. I'm not sure if it's saving. Whether I click "Save" "save as" or "save as PDF" nothing seems to happen and it doesn't ask me where I want to save it or confirm it's been saved. If I try to make it public (in case I need to do that to save) it shows the little spinning circle like it's working on it, but it just keeps spinning (for like 20 minutes so far.) Hi, From what I can see there are two ways to upgrade docs for more storage. One is to upgrade to the professional package and the other is to increase document storage in the Zoho Business subscription section of the control panel. If I upgrade from the business control panel by buying extra storage do I get use of the workspaces? The explorer view in Docs should include check-in/out status and current revision.Deleting Docs that are checked out.
When you attempt to delete a document that is checked-out, the document disappears from the explorer view, then re-appears. Hi, I am using Zoho to act as the go between for my work computer and my work server as the Windows Client we use does not allow drag and drop of files from one desktop to the other. Its a pain. At any rate I uploaded all of my files no problem, and the downloading was going good as well...until it stopped working with 1/3rd of my document still to go. I know there is no limit to the number of documents i can upload under a certain size, but is there a limit to the downloads? On about my 15thHow do I stop zoho from sending email each time a change is made to a file ?

I have three folders in Zoho that we use to document work orders, so various people make changes to the three documents throughout the day. When I went into the folders this morning, the information in one folder was copied into the other two folders. Any information in the other two folders were deleted or copied over. So the information from the two folders has been deleted. Do you archive the zoho documents? We use zoho with our domain (tubus.cn), and have 14 paid for users. In addtion we just purchased zoho docs business edition for 8 users; not all the 14 zoho business users need access to the full version of zoho docs. Hi, I've set up groups, workspaces,, created documents, etc - great fun! Where I really struggle is inviting people. Whenever I send an invite for workspace, I get the message that it is not a valid email or ZohoID. How do I need to go about this? The documents and workspaces I have set up need to be shared with various people (that's why I signed up for Zoho)! They cannot just be sent? I just set up docs to see if it will work for an organization I'm involved with. I'm impressed with its functionality. But we don't have much of a budget, so we would prefer to make do with the "free" level. Looking at the comparison between levels, it says that free doesn't offer things like check-in/check-out, workspaces, group management, etc. But I have all that now. Is this a sItuation where I'm getting the top level free for a limited period, and then they'll take all the features away?list of users

Hi, I have 5 people who need to collaborate on 7 documents. Not all people work on all documents, usually only 1 - 3 people per document. I have set up workspaces for the 7 documents (one each) and have asked the 5 people to each register for a free account so that I can invite them as User to the various workspaces. Is this the best way of doing things? Or should I have just created a group, invite them to participate and only then invite them to the workplace? Am a little lost/confused about howStorage details

90% files i created can't be searched in search result. eg: i created a file named "1687-DW" in zoho write, and i saved. I can see the file when i click the folder in zoho doc. I have a spreadsheet in zoho Docs but I can't open it in Zoho Sheet. If share it with myself it does not show up in my shared folder in Sheet. I can not copy cells from it to a new sheet either. Hi It's been few days since I noticed this irritating bug In Sheet (that I use on daily basis), which is like this: 1) I Insert 1 or few more rows in my sheet. 2) In one or more columns that I have a formula in place, When I drag a upper cell to the bottom of the column to apply the formula to the entire of the column, It always go to the bottom of the page (unwantedly) and make a mess of may sheet.
