Importing Expenses
I am having problems with importing my expenses into zoho. It shows up the error "Your file has no rows to import. Please fill up with required data then begin to import". I'm not sure what the issue is. Do I have to have the excel document set up a certain way for it to import? Thanks!

Zoho Invoice: 10000 characters limit HTML email templates
Hi, as a webdesign company we are used to HTML coding emails to ensure they match our company’s visual style. We also always ensure each encoded HTML email is properly formatted for both desktop and mobile email clients / users. When we tried to design a simple short responsive email to use as "Payment Thankyou” template, we were halted by the system telling us there is a limit of 10.000 characters in place for these emails??? report based on custom fields
I created a custom field that contains a number (specifically mileage). Is there a way to create a report totaling the mileage or at least a count per customer?
Flat Rate Items
I haven't seen any discussion on this having occurred for a long time, and any existing Topics point to old pages that no longer exist. Is there no longer any such things as a flat rate item or invoice in this product? Or is the only way to create a flat rate item to work around it by setting a quantity of "1" and just entering the amount in the rate field? OK if that approach needs to be used, but not great! How do I record early payment?
I have customers who pay rent early by putting several months payment in one check. What is the proper way to record this advance payment in Zoho Invoice? I have seen a YouTube video of how to do it from several years ago ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ywkKMul7NSs) but it appears to be from an older version. how to round rate in an invoice
Hi there, We would like to round the values of an invoice without losing accuracy in the total amount. Right now we see long numbers in the pdf file and we would like to round those numbers without changing the total amount. Is there any way we can modify the template so only two decimals are displayed in the final invoice? This is mostly for rate values, I see there is a way to hide decimals for quantity values but not for the rest of values. Any input here will be very much appreciated. Thank you
Sort timesheet entries?
I am going back to my timesheet entries for a project, expanding on my shorthand notes. This automatically re-orders my timesheet entries so that the most recently updated timesheet entry is on the top of the list, regardless of the actual date of the entry. Furthermore, when I create an invoice from these timesheet entries, they are no longer presented chronologically but they show in order of update (most recently updated at the bottom). This is a huge mess. Is there a way to sort timesheet entries

I've got a client who is invoiced weekly for a weekly retainer. I need the line item to include the date range. Is there any way to do this with a recurring invoice? Seems like there should be some basic date math functionality for the invoice templating?

What to do with extra payments?
Hi, I have a client who often sends more money via paypal than I've invoiced for. Say the invoice is for $45.99 she will send $50. What's the best way to record this extra $4.01? I want to store it as a credit somehow so it can be used against future invoices. Or should I really just refund it via paypal? Thanks

Hello, We're an online retailer, and so we need a shipping address every time we take payment. When a customer pays with paypal though on a Zoho Invoice link, they are never asked to input their shipping address. This means that we then have to call up or email the customer afterwards for their address, which isn't very efficient at all. Is it possible to just add a tickbox in the paypal integration page that would force customers to specify a delivery address with each payment? Most paypal payment

Fiscal year
Hello everyone, I've just ask help to the customer support, but I'm trying and see if anyone out there can help me. Since our fiscal year coincides with the solar year, on 1st Jan. 2015 our fiscal year is changed. Today, we tried to produce our 2015 first invoice, just to discover that apparently the invoice numbering doesn't restart. Last year, our invoicing numbering system was: (Prefix)_currentyear_-_invoicenumber_ (which is sort of mandatory in Italy). That's to say: 2014-001, 2014-002, etc.

Displaying Multi Currency on invoice
Hi Zoho Helpers. My situation is as follows: In my country we used both currencies US$ and ANG guilders both are acceptable, Exchange rates are fixed, however each company has the choice to choose his/her rate eg, 1.75, 1.79, 1.8, 1.82 or 2.0, so, 1US $ can equal any of the mentioned exchange rates listed. Once invoice is submitted, clients can choose in which currency they pay US$ or ANG. Since most P.O.S. does not list both currencies on the invoices, most companies just list their exchange rate
Add product items by scanning a UPC barcode
I would like to be able to add new products to my product selection list by scanning the UPC. As there are many apps out there that already do something similar (such as searching for pricing of a given UPC across the internet), I think it would be useful to instead have the product description populate the approriate field when setting up a new product. The pricing field should still allow me to enter the actual price that my business retails it for. Thanks!
My logo
Is there a way to put my logo on the invoice instead of ZOHO's logo? Or if not, a way to have my business logo shown as well as ZOHO's? I would like my clients to have a feel of my brand when they receive my invoices.

I have been using invoice for a few months now and it is spot on for what I want.Could do with more than 5 customers but I have setup one as cash and use different templates with the customers name on. In the new year I am looking at starting another business as a sideline and will need to invoice customers. Paypal payments not posting to invoices
I have sent 2 support tickets and left a voicemail message. My customers are paying invoices via paypal, paypal sends me the email saying they paid, but the payments are not posting to zoho invoice and sending me the payment notification as well. Help! Currency/amount on dashboard
hey there, I really like the fact that Zoho Invoice allows several currencies and different templates for different countries! (thumbs up!) However, the 3 different currencies I use to issue invoice in are not reflected on the dashboard. This is confusing since it shows it all in my base currency. So although I've got invoices worth e.g. 1000 Australian Dollars and 500 Euros outstanding, it shows it as 1500 EUR which is misleading (it's more like 1100 EUR). Add statement to invoice?
Now that the facility to send statements has been added to Zoho Invoice, would it be possible to have a check box in the "send invoice" dialog which automatically attaches a statement to the email along with the invoice? I'd like to be a able to remind clients about past unpaid invoices at the same time as sending a new invoice and attaching a statement to the email is an ideal way to achieve this. Mark

Hi Is there a way to display the company name on this page. Reason is we have multiple departments within one company we invoice. As it is set at the moment, it will only display the customer name or company in the 'Company Name' field. Therefore referencing sent invoices is difficult as its either: 1. labelled as same company 2. Labelled by individual and no company mentioned. Contact Address format differs
Hi, I have created two contacts with the same address. However, while one of them appears with the following (desired) address format in the contact overview: STREET CITY POST CODE COUNTRY ...the second one is shown like this: STREET CITY, , POST CODE COUNTRY So, not only does the post code not appear in its own line as I would like it to, but also there appears to be a placeholder for STATE. Zoho Invoice - snail mail template issue
I've created a good looking custom invoice template. When I want to sent it by snail mail, zoho invoice shows me a preview of the envelope. On this envelope I can click to preview my invoice that will be physically send by mail. problem => the template that now is used for snail mail is different than my own template. All the info is there, just in another template. What can I do to secure that my invoice looks the same for both e-mail and snail mail? kind regards, Doron
