QA Mode not showing changes as Editor does
Hi, I have an A/B test for mobile in draft mode. I have created the variation and I can see it is applying the changes correctly when checking using the Editor. Problem is when checking using QA mode. In QA mode the changes are not applied to the variation, even after I select the variation on the QA mode box, set the Audience Segment to mobile. So, since at the editor is fine, but at QA mode the changes seems to not be applied, I can't start the test because I don't know if the variation will
Experiment Activation Mode Questions
Hi, I have a few questions about Experiment Activation Mode on a A/B Test. I'm firing the PageSense snippet over Google Tag Manager, using the tag template provided by PageSense. I'd like to activate the test only on a few pages. Example, I have the following pages: www.test.com www.test.com/orange www.test.com/bicycle www.test.com/black All of them are running the basic snippet over GTM, but I want to run the test only at /orange and /black (and other hundreds of URL's that I can easily identify
SalesIQ / PageSense Data Mixmatch
There's a lot some skewed data between PageSense and Sales IQ. Sales IQ may show one city or location for the visitor, but then PageSense may have a different location for the visitor when you go to view the recording. The location name is also not a column in the recording listing, which would help a lot too. It would be awesome if the location information (and the recording/session identifier) was somehow synced or shared between Sales IQ and PageSense. Instead of Malicious Rabbit for the recording,
Create automation according to user's action
Hi, We have a product that doesn't have any free mode, so, any user needs to enter login and password to enter the product. Here are questions: 1. Can I set goals in PageSense according to User ID (email) for tracking? 2. Can I make workflow rules according to actions of users/user segment? For instance, can I make an email campaign (through zoho campaigns) for users with demo access, who visited product once and didn't return? Thank you for your help!

Hello I have a Pagesense snippet on this site https://profitsavvy.org It seems to be correctly installed. When I click 'verify snippet' it opens a test window but there is no response. When I do the same thing with a site that does not have a snippet it does the same thing but then responded to say "snippet not found". I have run the applciation for several days without logging any responses so I belive the snippet is not working properly. Can anyone assist? Thanks Scott

CRO hack #12: QA checks you should conduct before launching your A/B test
Prevent spotty user experience by running a thorough quality assurance(QA) check before launching your A/B test. Evaluate the test's behavior under variation-specific edge-cases. Here are a couple of cases to get you started: QA for breakages: If you've added new elements to the treatment, or modified existing ones, it might be a good idea to check if these new elements are loading as expected across variations, browsers, and devices. Work with your developer to resolve any HTML/CSS breakage issues
Not counting our own visits
Hi, We setup pagesense on our website. It seems to work fine, however, as we are ourselves using the website for our work, results are obviously polluted by our own use. How could be "clean" heatmap, forms, goals, from our own visit ? Thanks !

CRO hack #11: A checklist for crafting a high converting website poll
Running an on-site poll is an excellent way of learning exactly what your visitors expect when they browse your website—you're essentially creating a direct communication link between the two of you. Here's a checklist you can refer to while designing your next website poll to increase submissions: Try to keep the survey a short as possible. Use conditional logic to show/hide questions based on the visitors' responses. This way your poll is only as long as it needs to be. Never ask a question that
CRO hack #10: Avoiding configuration mistakes in your funnel analysis setup
The first step of accurately setting up a system for analyzing your sales funnel is making sure that the data you're collecting is unambiguous and un-skewed. Check your configuration for these possible fallacies: Third-party navigation: There are instances when a visitor might have to navigate to a third party site before converting, for example, a payment gateway while checking out. Remember to account for these false drop-offs while working through the funnel analysis reports. You can check for

CRO hack #09: Beyond Inconclusive A/B Tests
Despite having a hypothesis that checks all right boxes, there is still a high chance that your A/B test returns inconclusive results. However, this isn't a dead-end. In fact, there's still significant insight you can gather from this report. Here are a couple ideas to get you started: Analyze micro conversions: Say the primary goal of the test gets the highest conversions in a particular variation. If these numbers are statistically significant, then this variation is declared the winner, else the

CRO hack #08: Fixing low conversion rates from search ads
The average conversion rate of search ads across all industries is 3.75 percent. Having said that, the ideal conversion rate of search ads for your business depends heavily on the type of industry it is a part of. Say you are using a keyword driven ad copy, precise targeting and even a smart bidding strategy for your search ads. In spite of this, if you're still having below average conversion rates, then the problem could be: The ad copy doesn't match the landing page Just fixing the context mismatch
CRO hack #07: See what your visitors see. Give them what they want.
As a web marketer, your job doesn't end after you launch a website and put out a series of cornerstone content. You have to understand how visitors interact with your website and analyze what has worked with your target market and what hasn't. And you can achieve this with the help of session recording. What is session recording? Session recordings are video renderings of your visitor's actions on your website. You can play, pause, and replay the recordings to see how visitors engage with your website.
Possible to View Heatmap Data Pre and Post Web Site Update?
Hello- I'm new to Pagesense and its awesome! Great work! Question: I have about 2wks of heat map data that has been very valuable. But we are doing a web site update that will have a different layout and different content. Couple questions: - After a web site update, will I be able to still see the results from that last couple weeks prior to the web site is change? In other words, after the site up changed, can I still see results from before the change for comparison? - If not, is there a way to
CRO hack #06: Minimizing drop-offs on longer forms
If you've run form analytics on your website pages, you would have gotten insights about the worst and the best performing fields—the ones that are filled the most by your visitors and the ones that generally lead the visitors dropping off the page. However, analyzing longer forms can get a bit tricky. Most often, the drop-offs are not because of just a particular field. They also might be because the visitor doesn't have the time to finish entering their details, their first glance at the length
CRO hack #05: Conduct polls and get the pulse of your visitors
Whether you are planning for a website overhaul, product repositioning or content revamp, understanding your customers' needs goes a long way in making important business decisions. What better way to understand their needs than to ask them directly? Polls are a powerful, quick and effective method to collect customer feedback and draw meaningful insights. Here are a couple of instances where polls can make a difference: Boost engagement rates: Polls give your visitors a voice. With the right
URL Split Tests: how to prevent form variant pages being indexed by Google
Hi, let's say I have a page domain.com/page-1 Now I create two variations domain.com/page-1a and domain.com/page-1b and create an URL split test. How do you prevent page-1a and page1-b being from being indexed. What's the best approach: Add a noindex on those pages? Or using canonicals to link to the original page? What do you recommend or is anything already happening automatically?
Pageview Goals Counting More Than Once
Hi, how am I supposed to get accurate reading of my Page View Goals in Split URL tests if they're being counted multiple times? Example: Someone successfully submits a form and is redirected to success page. They revisit this page 10 times... Normally, very few people submit this form, so this 10 additional page views massively messes up my data... Please help.
Integrating Zoho with Analytics -- ZOHO Guide is inaccurate.
Hi, your guide is inaccurate for me: https://www.zoho.com/pagesense/help/ua-integration.html Step 2 Says: "Click the Settings option in the left pane of the experiment listing page and go to the Integrations tab. Enable Google Analytics." I am unable to locate any "Settings" option. Where is this? Is it located in my Google Analytics? Or my ZOHO PageSense? I cannot locate the image you have displayed anywhere. Step 3 Says: "Step 3: Adding the tracking code gtag ('config','UA-XXXXXXXX-X') " However,
CRO hack #04: Hacking a cold heatmap
Heatmaps do the talking for themselves. They show you where the visitors are clicking—helping you understand exactly which sections on your website are the most engaging. The heatmap of a well-designed landing page will show you exactly what the page's aim is: Get clicks on the main CTA. And if there are clicks on any other element, the diagnosis is easy—the element looks clickable. There are a few heatmaps however, that are just plain confusing. Consider a heatmap having equally distributed clicks
PageSense Seesion recordings
How come I can't see any of my recorded sessions. I've confirmed that the snippet is probably defined in Wordpress, I am getting stats, etc. I see list of recorded sessions, click on them, and goes to recording but says OOPS didn't work try again. Refreshed, clicked all other recordings - nothing.
CRO hack #03: Always segment your reports to understand your audience better
Unsegmented reports can be deceiving. Let's say you run a heatmap on your homepage and learn that only 30% of your visitors stick around to the average fold. Upon first glace, this data can be quite disheartening, and you might consider reworking the design and content of the site to better retain visitors. However, before taking this drastic step, you decide to dig deeper. Good call. You find that close to 90% of visitors from third-party sites drop off before they reach the average fold. However,
CRO hack #02: Build effective funnels. Drive more conversions.
You attract visitors to your website through constant content marketing efforts, paid ads, social media promotions or even word-of-mouth. Your end goal at any given day is to make them take a specific action on your website that leads to conversion. Not every visitor landing on your website is going to behave the same way, ergo it is important to understand their behavior and guide them through their journey. This is where a conversion funnel makes all the difference. What are conversion funnels?
Invoice
Hi, how can I get an official invoice? I need one for my tax return Thanks and Regards, Andreas
CRO hack #01: Why goals are important aspects of a CRO process.
People often ask us this one question, "I want more conversions from my website; how do I achieve that?". What's overlooked here is that conversion means different things to different businesses. That's why it becomes important for you to define goals that are unique to your business and keep track of it at every level. So, what are goals? Goals are a set of actions on your website/page you want your visitors to perform. Your webpage can have different types of goals depending on the type of visitor.
Cookie saved also when usage exceeded
Hi, currently I have a subscription for 10.000 monthly visitors. As I read in the help section this counts per experiment. 1. Does that mean when all experiments are paused my usaged will not be "touched", only when I (re-)start an experiment. So let's say I have a website with in total 50.000 visitors, but I want to make an experiment, e.g. a URL split test with only 10.000 visitors, then I would only need the subscription for 10.000, right? 2. Furthermore: is the cookie still saved on ALL the
Can't make the Session Recording works in my single page application (SPA)
Hi, I'm trying to use pagesense for heatmaps and session recordings, but I got a problem, related to the fact that my application is a SPA that uses Vue.js and Vue-router. The first page always loads fine, regardless the route, but when user clicks on links I immediately see a blank screen on the video, instead of the next page's UI. I added the pagesense script to my layout's <head> tag, the same way I used other recording tools, such as Hotjar, which had worked well. It's important to mention that
Tracking Stopped Working Last Night???
Hey, I'm getting zero hits on my split URL goals. It's weird and bugged. Also one of my experiments got zero visitors, which doesn't make sense, because it's a part of a funnel, and the other experiements
So many bugs....!!!! Can't Duplicate Split URL Test, get error
I get the following error when dupplicating a Split URL test. It occurs about 50% of the time... Sometimes happens sometimes doesn't... Sometimes it's persistent... Happens if the Split URL test is both active and inactive.
After clicking link of table of contents (url#anchor): no more clicks measured
Hi, i have a URL split test: Split Test Stimmungsaufheller (1) (1) (1) (1) (2) (1) (Btw. how can I rename it) While testing I found that after a user clicks a link of the table of contents (e.g. https://www.meinwegausderangst.de/pflanzliche-stimmungsaufheller-02/#tab-con-21 ) and after that a user clicks another link that should be measured by a goal, then this click is not taken into account. This seems wrong to me! Please support. Btw. my email is andreas@warzen-***.com You should find my account.
You do realize your heatmaps aren't working right?
Your heat maps don't make any sense... They literally are Completely Inaccurate... And the Heat doesn't show 90% of the time...
SPLIT URL IS BROKEN.........
YOUR SPLIT URL IS BROKEN..... I DID A SPLIT URL TEST FOR URL1 AND URL2... 50% WENT TO URL1 FINE. 50% WENT TO URL2 <-- YOUR SOFTWARE MAKES URL2 INTO A BLANK WHITE PAGE............... WHAT THE HELL? THIS WAS AN IMPORTANT CONVERSION PAGE FOR ME AND YOU MADE ME LOSE SALES....... AND YOU DON'T EVEN PROVIDE PHONE OR EMAIL SUPPORT FOR PAGESENSE........ THIS IS CRAZY....
Can't Open This Page Error (Cannot Access Account on Chrome)
When I click "My Projects"... I get the following error on Google Chrome: I've cleared Cookies and Cache several times. Still same error. I've tried Incognito mode... Still same error. It does work on Microsoft Edge though... But Edge is a piece of shit browser, I don't want to use it.
Results in google analytics
Is it possible to see the result of the A / B test in google analytics?
