Milestone - Edit Date Completed
I've noticed a new change with Project Milestones, they are no longer separated by Active Milestones and Completed Milestones, but there is a Status button that you change. However, there used to be a Completed Date field/column. Now it just shows StartUse templates to create similar projects
Create custom project templates and use them to start projects that are similar or repetitive in nature. For instance, a publishing company handles a variety of books like management, research, STEM etc. Each division follows their own process and theA better way to calculate completion percentage.
Currently the developed zoho project program calculates a percentage calculation on the project overview page. Plain view is an excellent view to work in, but I find the usefulness of it greatly reduced by the inability to sort by several major columns. Examples: When looking at Plain View for a Project, the first thing I want to do is sort by owner. The next think is by Task List. Neither is possible. Yet I can sort by Status, Due Date etc. When looking at Plain View in My Tasks, the first thing I want to be able to sort by is Project. Not possible. Can sorting just be enabled for all columns? The CRM teamA parent task can not be made dependent on the completion of its subtask(s)
I can designate a parent task ("Check earthing") as dependent on the completion of one or more of its subtasks, but someone who has been assigned the parent task and its subtasks can close the parent task and all of its subtasks with close without a warningResources are not Users and Users are not Resources
The good news is that we are committed to using Zoho Project because it has great value and functionality. The bad news is that there are basic improvements that need to be made. One of my pet peeves with Zoho Project is the blending of Users and Resources. Resources are not Users and the requirement to have an email address for every Resource is cumbersome and not practical. If a blueprint is being applied to a task then it would be useful to be able to change the assigned task owners depending on the currently worked on workflow status. For example look at the process of a documentation task where the "document writer" is assigned to draft a text. When the drafting status is finished then the task is assigned to a "proofreader". From an agile marketing perspective, one of the main measurements we use is protectiveness and timing of milestones in order to plan and mange projects efficiently. I am trying to close out a project so that no more time can be entered against the project since it is complete - however when I change the status to "Archived" - it no longer shows the hours logged against that project in my Time Entry Export.
