Task completion percent based on completed subtasks
Is it possible to have a given task's completion percentage update based on the subtasks completed? For example, Task has 2 Subtasks, when one subtask is closed, Task shows 50% complete.Can we select which users to add into Projects before a Basecamp migration?
We have too many users on our Basecamp projects because Basecamp doesn't limit us about the amount of users and we did add even people from other departments who only needed to stay in the loop about certain projects. How will the migration process apply when a certain Basecamp project has more users than our account limit on Projects? Why can't we sort tasks (or projects) by the column headers? What's mystifying is that in Books, Inventory, and CRM, we can sort by column headers in all views. Why the inconsistency? Hello, Please consider adding the following feature: Adding a preview ability to a blueprint transition that has criteria requirements associated with it. Since I'm the one creating blueprints, I understand what the transition requirements are, however users without access to task settings will not - and won't be able to easily understand what they need to accomplish in order to trigger the next transition. Hi, I've associated CRM and Zoho Projects successfully but when I add a task and try to add to CRM I get a message saying "no accounts or deals found". I had this issue once before and managed to fix by disassociating the project and then reassociating but this hasn't worked. Can anyone suggest a fix?Is there some sort of SLA available for tasks?

Hello, I am testing the calendar integration between ZProjects and MS365 and there appear to be two important limitations: The Integration appears to be one-way (from ZProjects to MS365) only as I have been unable to update an event in MS365 and have it go back to Zprojects. A repeating event created in ZProjects only goes over to MS365 as a single event and does not have any of the repeating times. Are both of these true or am I missing something?Edit filter lists

I have just finished watching your "Blueprints in Zoho Projects" video. I'm curious if you are going to introduce the "On Hold" type statuses into Projects. This feature was recently included into the Desk ticket status types back a few months ago. An "On Hold" type of status should stop a timer on the task (or at least create a second type of reporting time) and create an additional report where the timer is calculated based on the task type. In Zoho Projects, you have more control over the user profiles by customizing them with access permissions. We have now enhanced the module-level permissions such as view permission for tasks & issues and field-level permissions for tasks. You can customize user profiles to view only the relevant tasks. There is a line that has http://projects.zoho.com/portal/ then it has a blank area for me to enter my new portal name. When using a roll-up defined project I find that I often have to add new tasks that are dependent on a existing closed task. Having this dependency will set the Start date of the new task. Unfortunately Projects does not allow the adding a dependency on a completed task. The work around is to go back and change the predecessor task to open, then add the dependency for the new task...and then go back and close the predecessor task (and remember to return the predecessor task completed date to theLink task and bug

Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria. Few points to be noted about task sorting: This option is available in the Classic View only (within My Tasks, Tasks & Milestones section).
