Hi, I am not sure about the difference in access privileges between "contractor" and "employee". What functions can each of these roles access? The help info is not totally clear on this. Dear Team Zoho Projects, Am I missing something or you guys don't have some very simple features and by mistake I ended up paying 16000/- 1. Not sure why but am not able to create a recurring task. I am trying to figure out what I have misconfigured (if anything) in my Zoho Projects portal. A customer uploaded a document into the portal and also made a comment 7 days ago, and I'm just now finding out because it was on my dashboard after logging in. When I'm adding a forum there is a "right side panel" that lists "Forum Categories". I have tons of categories for projects that have been trashed and Archived. I am absolutely certain that none of those projects ever had forums. When I delete a category (by clicking on the trash can beside it) the Category goes away but the next time I create another Forum, all the same categories are still there. When looking at lists (e.g. of projects), I often need to reapply the same filters (e.g. all active projects that are owned by me) many times a day, day after day. It would be ideal if I could save these filters in some way, e.g. by making them the default for me, or even better, i could bookmark them. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like this is possible. Is there any way to save or bookmark filtered lists, e.g. by appending url variables or some other method? Would save me a LOT of time!Printing invidual Issues

I just noticed that there is not a "(1001)" in front of the project name in my Chrome browser tabs. When I receive notification emails from Zoho projects, I see what appears to be an auto-generated summary at the top, and a link below that that says "Show Original Message". I have a problem with new members sign in. situation: Our new project member had registered his account's password through the invitation mail. after then the web page was moved to ZOHO top page. https://www.zoho.com/jp/projects/ He clicked "sign in" which is in right side above. Hi, I'm just getting my feet wet with Zoho project management. As the admin for this project, I'll be adding 3-4 additional users. After I complete the setup for a new user, is an email sent automatically to that user? Can I choose to NOT send an initial notification, at least not until I'm ready? Hi there, We have an existing project that I want to specify a budget for. I opened the Edit Project screen and have most fields already set, including the Billing Method (set to Based on Project Hours) and a billing rate. I then try to change Project Budget to Based on Amount and enter a value of 3000. When I click the Update button, an error message shows at the top of the Edit Project screen saying 'Please specify a valid rate'. Hello, we are a bit confused because when testing the Zoho Project we ran into this issue(?): We opened and assigned a new task with these details (for example): - work hours per day: 10 - start date: 12-12-2018 00:00 - due date: 12-13-2018 00:00 - duration: 2 days (20 working hours) The problem is, we can add even 60 billable hours under the log hours and set the task complete. Afterwards the system will close the task and add this 60 hours to the total of the project, although there will be -40Next Page

Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. To customize, navigate to Task & Timesheet settings under Portal Configuration in Zoho Projects setup and enableCatch Zoho Projects' New Video Series!

I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria. Few points to be noted about task sorting: This option is available in the Classic View only (within My Tasks, Tasks & Milestones section).
