Project Templates - Add a Template Later
I've started a Project without a template and want to apply our template to it now, is there a way to do this?Zoho Project for CRM is clumsy and not intuitive
Zoho Pdoes a lot of things right as a platform provider and I have to say the support we have received has been better than many of the other SaaS platforms we work with. However, they do need to improve the diagnosing experience with their customers and get rid of old streams of discussion that really only help to confuse many people using the most current version of Zoho products. That being said, Zoho Projects promises a lot of fantastic integration within the CRM and the users of the CRM,Permision for users to edit task completion percentages?
How can I allow users to edit completion percentages of tasks and limit them from being able to edit anything else? The only option I see is to give users permission to edit tasks in general that they own or are assigned to. I don't want them to be able to edit everything about the tasks. The only thing I want them to be able to edit and update is completion percentage. This way they won't mess up budgeted hours, change dates or delete things on accident. I am learning Zoho so please excuse if I misunderstand something. I set up a project, marketing campaign. Besides regular task management I see that projects can be associated with deals. My assumption was that if I do, I can then see the stats from those deals in the Dashboard or Finance tab of the project. I closed some deals during this campaign and associated them (had to create accounts for each contact just for that). When I look for any financial data, I do not see the amounts of the won deals.No task attachment icon next to Workdrive files

Hi, I'm trying to create a custom function that sends an email, an HTML email with formatting and images, to be used with a business rule in Zoho Projects. I've stripped the 'message' part of the sendmail function right back to basics but it still fails. In the example below, removing the DIV styling tags allows it to save successfully. Won't save with styling tags, or image tags.If the message is changed to a simple "<div>TEST</div>" it saves. Hello, I'm new to project management and zoho projects. I have spent a few hours online watching some videos as well as doing some google searching but have a few questions I have not found the answer to. Is there a way to enter the required milestones, task lists, tasks and subtasks for a project and then come up with an expected project completion date based upon a start date? Last week this featured worked perfectly. It's not working now. 1) I create a task 2) I copy the task, and set the number of copies I want made 3) I get the confirmation that the duplicate copies have been made and then nothing. The newly duplicated tasks don't appear in the left-side-bar task list. If I close out of the task, the tasks don't appear in the list of tasks associated with the project. I have to refresh the task list (by clicking All Tasks) and then the duplicate tasks appear. Any suggestionsA Couple Blueprint Update Ideas
Would it be possible to have blueprints applied to a task, even if they did not meet the blueprint requirements when they were first created? I.E. if they are updated and THEN meet the requirement, the blueprint is associated. I have a blueprint which is set to be applied when certain people are assigned a task. I tend to create tasks by clicking the "Add Task" button underneath each Task List in the Task List view. I just give it a title then hit Enter. When using the main task dialog it used to always force the user to enter a start and end date. Today I notice that is no longer the case. I hope that is purposeful and going to stay that way because it is an incredibly welcome addition!Modify width of Name column in Projects tab?
Loving the custom views for the Projects tab. With the fields other than "Project Name", we can modify the field width. Is there a way to modify the width of "Project Name"? There's a lot of valuable space that is just "white space". It would be nice to be able to shorten this field so more fields display on the screen without scrolling. Would it be possible to allow sub-grouping of projects in the Projects tab including sub-grouping by a custom field)? Also a default sorting? Our company has multiple branches which are set as a Group. Each branch has multiple crew which I have created a custom field to select within the project. We rely on tags for a lot of tasks. Currently Zoho does not have this feature so we create our own eg. #pub (for publish). ie. We "tag" a task name #pub if it is to publish content on a given date. I just don't understand how this feature isn't available. We are consultants in large long term construction projects. Our Projects are being set up in Zoho so the Tasks match Construction Contracts broken down into sections. The Project Manager would divide the contract amount across all tasks at his discretion. We bill our clients incrementally based on the percentage of each Task that is complete. For example, Task #1 Site Evaluation may be two visits several months apart. Recently, I faced a weird issue in Zoho Project in which no task from any projects were able to get loaded. This brought a halt to my organisation operations as we manage everything from zoho projects. It took Zoho 3 days to fix the issue. I want to create a custom view so I can easily call up tasks for which due dates have not been assigned, so that I can go through and assign due dates to them. Is this possible? I tried to create such a view by selecting "due date" "is" and then leaving the criteria blank. I've painstakingly built tasklist templates only to find that if you don't set lag-times, the time between your dependencies is not retained when you slide the predecessor tasks forward in the Gantt chart. My project has 25 tasklists, with ten dependencies each. That's 250 separate entries I need to make! Surely there's a better way. What if I could use the Duration and Start After times I've already set, and apply those to the lag times for dependencies? Even better if I could do this in bulk, orEmailing Project Dashboard
Management's interested in receiving daily emails with project's status. I reckon sending them a link to the Dashboard (or the dashboard itself) should suffice their needs. Hello Team Zoho, This has been a issue where we are unable to Change the column width of the custom fields individually when we are customizing template. It is always changing for all. In many cases there are custom fields which are not always of same width.
