Zoho Wiki at Zoholics Austin?
I just got email announcing the agenda for Zoholics 2019 Austin, so I visited the lniked conference pages, and I don't see any agenda items or speakers related to Zoho Wiki. Is there any news on that? Thanks.Bug: WYSIWYG editor excessive bottom margin
I'm pretty sure this is a new issue in the last couple of days. The WYSIWYG editor is setting the bottom of the edit area a long way from the bottom of the window, leaving a large wasted space that should instead be dedicated to the edit area. Here is a screen cap. This issue shows up across multiple zoho wiki sites, and happens on both Firefox and Chrome, on Windows. (7-64).Bug WSYIWYG col insert incorrect valign
When the WYSIWYG editor creates a new table with the Insert Table button, it adds attribute valign="top" to each cell. However, the right-click > insert column does not do so. This means newly added columns have valign default, which is middle (and almost never what I want!). I'm pretty sure this broke only recently, since I use tables on a daily basis, and would have noticed this. Anyhow, I think Insert Col should be consistent with Insert Table. Some time in the last few weeks, the tiny control that appears when editing tables, to allow adding/deleting rows and columns, has stopped appearing. That control was always a bit fiddly, but quite useful, particularly for adding or deleting many rows at a time. The same action using the right click menu does work, but is quite slow. Hi folks, Some time in the last maybe month or two, it seems that the ability to resize an image after inserting it into a page has disappeared. It used to be that after inserting an image into the WYSIWYG editor, you could later select it, resize handles would appear, and you could use those to resize it. Now, when you select such an image, no handles appear, and consequently there's no GUI way to resize it. This is also inconvenient for moving the image. I was rearranging my knowledge base yesterday and i didnt new that Categories stands for departments. So i tried ordering all better to make more sense. When i delete some sub-sections i lost a couple articles which were in a sub-section of that. Is this a know issue? This is a behavior that seems to have changed in the past week. In Zoho Wiki, in the past, the WYSIWYG editor produced quite vanilla HTML. Now it's wrapping many tags in superfluous divs. This is with Firefox, which, like most browsers, relentlessly updates, so could be an interaction with a Firefox update. At any rate, this is on Windows 7, latest update, with Firefox 60.0.1 64-bit. How do I invoke the Equation Editor? I can't find a button for it on the toolbar, and nor is it anywhere obvious on the Insert menu. Hi folks, It seems that on my wiki, the custom CSS file only gets served properly when a user is logged in. If the user is not logged in, the server serves the file, but it is empty. I attach a couple of screenshots of Firefox network diagnostics for the logged-in and NOT logged in cases. The file in question is zoho-gw-01.css, and you can see the problem with file size. Hi all, I am associated with a number of zoho wikis, each of which was created using a different zoho owner account, so that they can be managed separately. (I think this came about because there is or was no feature to give ownership of a wiki to a new owner). For sanity, for my own purposes I have a single zoho account that has admin and edit permissions on all these wikis, for everyday use. Hi folks, While the navigation tree and breadcrumbs are undergoing some consideration in other threads, I would like to re-raise the issue of disabling painfully-slow-motion animation of the site map's treeview. Although the site map is somewhat useful as a site structure map, the fact that it's on a separate page means that it's no replacement for the nav tree that appears on the content pages. Site map's navigation utility is further limited by the fact that on first visiting it, it's completelyNavigation treeview issues
The nav treeview sometimes behaves nicely, at other times it's horrible. I'm not sure if the following are bugs, or just a problem in the design. In the following, I will use "L1", "L2" and so on to refer to the different _visible_ levels of the treeview. So L1 is the root of the treeview, regardless of whether it's displaying the root of the pages. After navigating to the root page of a workspace, the treeview behaves properly. I'd like to draw attention back to a bug I reported back in October 2015 https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/wysiwyg-editor-style-combo-box-is-broken. Much of that was fixed (thanks!), but one important element was not. In the WYSIWYG editor, the Style combo box does not properly track the text at the cursor position. When the cursor is placed in "bare" html text that is not encompassed by <p> tags or some other tags like <h2> etc, it just continues to display the style of the text atNavigation breadcrumbs is broken at depth > 4
It appears that the navigation breadcrumbs feature is broken for depths > 4. Example that works properly: Home/workspace1/aaa/bbb/ccc Example that breaks: Actual page: Home/workspace1/aaa/bbb/ccc/ddd on page ddd this appears as: Home/workspace1/bbb/ccc/ddd Note that 'aaa' is missing, and there's no indication (such as an ellipsis) that anything is missing. This concerns the otherwise impressive and useful UI to set attributes for tables, row, cells. It seems that the features that allow clearing (unsetting) the attributes don't work. Examples: For table, row and cell, the control "swatch" that sets background colors has an [x] button that clears the swatch, but doesn't clear the attribute of the table/row/cell. For table and cell, the UI control that sets width has no way to clear the width. You can delete the contents of the Width edit box, butcan I share to domain users with a free wiki account?
It's not clear HOW to actually do this - each user needs to register their email w/ zoho? I see 3 users are free, but does that include simply allowing people to view the pages? Please advise so I can tell users how/whether to sign up for this so I can share pages.Wiki import not working
In connection with my efforts to figure out how to move wikis and workspaces, I tried the wiki and workspace export and import functions. The export works no problem, and the resulting zip contains attachments and a main index.xml containing all the page content for the site I then created a new wiki, and attempted to import these zip files. In each case the browser takes a few seconds to upload the zip, but then does nothing -- no confirmation that anything was uploaded, no error message, nothing.Workspace move and rename issues

Zoho wiki's table formatting features and its UI are generally very impressive and useful. But one issue consistently bugs me. In the Table Properties UI, how do you set the table width to automatic? That is, have it omit the specification of 'width: something' ? I can edit the html to remove that spec from the style="..." attribute, which achieves the desired automatic width effect. I often need to make links that show the actual URL on the page. Thus the "text" of the link is the same as the link itself. Currently, when you select text, then right-click > Make link, the Insert/Modify link dialog loads the selected text into the Text field, but the URL slot is blank. For my scenario, it would be great if the dialog had a button to transfer the Text into the URL slot. Hi all, I previously reported this here: https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/problem-with-custom-css-in-editor , but that problem seemed to subside for a while. Now it has returned with a high level of consistency. The basic symptom is that when the WYSIWYG editor opens it fails to load custom CSS, page content images, and even images that are a standard part of zoho wiki, for example the bullet triangles for the page TOC. It also happens intermittently without any custom CSS, in thatCustomization dialog for top panel bug: prevents customizing

That panel does get invoked (as judged by DOM inspector), but it's positioned below bottom of browser window. Cannot be brought on screen by editing DOM. Hi folks, Having built out a sub-wiki (Workspace), what are my options to move or copy that to a new Wiki? I had thought that Backup might help here, but zoho's docs on Backup all say that the resulting zip download is not suitable for uploading for restore purposes. Obviously I don't relish the thought of having to manually copy the pages one-by-one to the new Wiki, whereupon presumably the page-to-page linking will need fixing. I have now seen this happen on three different pages. The page will look fine in read mode, but then invoke edit, and immediately the page is truncated at some point, with the rest of the page below that missing -- possibly a large amount. Quitting the editor at that stage, (without saving) results in display of the truncated page, the rest is missing. It appears that data in your database is messed up at that point, because there's no recent version in history corresponding to the page in its finalDisable very annoying push notification permission dialogs?!
Recently on zoho wiki pages, on every single page load an annoying Push Notification permission dialog pops up. In different browsers it does different things. In Firefox it pops up at top left and stays there until dismissed, requiring the puzzled user to make some decision that they neither understand nor care about. In Chrome (and on Mac not sure what browser), it flashes up briefly, and before you can read and click it, it disappears. Hi folks. I get the impression some work was done on the WYSIWYG editor sometime in the last couple of months -- if it addressed a few points I raised earlier -- great. However, one new problem has surfaced. Custom CSS for use in the WYSIWYG editor no longer works in Firefox, though it does work in Chrome. This is troublesome as we had determined that Firefox was our most reliable choice for using the editor in the first place (but, as mentioned above, it would be nice if that was overcome). OurCan you still export a whoole wiki as a PDF?
There used to be the ability to export a ZOHO wiki as a PDF. I can no longer find this functionality. Is it still there? Thanks DanNext Page
