Auto Save Interrupts Typing
Hello - I've noticed that when I'm typing in Writer and the document auto-saves while I'm typing, it interrupts the typing while the save is happening. I then have to retype/correct the word as Writer misses several key-presses during the auto save. Is there any way to prevent this from occurring? I'm using Firefox 3.6.10. I am using Zoho Docs and Writer. Unfortunately, these two solutions seem not yet to be very good aligned / implemented and working with both applications is at least for me very confusing: If I upload Word (or other doc format) documents from my computer, they appear in Docs with exactly the same symbol as docs that have been created in Writer. I am unable to paste anything in Zoho Writer using the keyboard shortcuts as instructed. I'm on a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.5.8 using Safari 5.0. After copying text from within the same zoho document or from any another source, nothing appears when i use Command-V to paste it. It is clearly copied because i can paste the copied text into any other app. Pasting does seem to work in Firefox (v 3.6.6). Yet it's doesn't seem to work as it's supposed to. All, I am having REAL difficulty in changing the font size in a writer doc. Frankly it is frustrating at best. At first the font popped into 24, then I was unable to change it at all. In a CRM forum, there was information about not trying to select all text and that did help somewhat as I then had to go paragraph by paragraph changing the font size back to 12pts... even then it was inconsistent as it often simply changed the paragraph, but not the spacing between paragraphs... then I needed toClipboard access denied

First of all, I love Zoho and have been using Zoho Sheet primarily over the past year or two. I recently began using Zoho Writer more regularly and am having some issues that don't seem to be resolving themselves. My computer is running Windows 7 and i am using Google Chrome 8.0.552.224. Whenever i log on to Zoho Writer i get a green square that says, "loading..." and nothing else. i have tried clearing my cache and my javascript is enabled. i am not sure what else to do. all other Zoho applications work, just writer has the problem. From research, I figured that documents in Zoho Projects should have a 'Track Changes' option in the review menu. However I am unable to find this option in the review menu. See screenshot below. This applies to any new documents created in Zoho or uloaded to zoho from Ms word without track changes enabled. The option I have is to download the document, open in Ms Word, enable Track Changes in Ms word and re-upload the document. Hello, Our issue is as follows: We have added in our mail merge template a dynamic table which pulls data from Zoho CRM Modules. However, when the mail merge output is populated, the order of the dynamic table rows is based on the creation date. This makes the dynamic table useless for us. We need to be able to sort these rows besides the creation date. 1: Is there a way to adjust the row order and control this through a filter? Or can we perhaps achieve this through a custom function in the meantime?this SUCKS
I have been typing a document.. i have saved many times, and I find now over an hour of notes are just not even there anymore... I just had them and did not even close the window of my typing.. I have been hitting save every minute.. even if the save did not get through at least the document should still be on my screen if I have not closed the window.. When i use ctrl+v to paste words to file in zoho writer. It keeps show me processing... and the browser dead, can't do any change, i tried IE8, Firefox, Google Chrome, same problem. For a few days now I have been unable to type any document. My curser does not go where I place it. Sometimes it goes above where I want it to go and other times it goes below. If I press return to start a new line, letters from the current line get deleted. It's very frustrating! I cannot select a word to check the spelling. Images in Zoho writer continue not to work correctly in any version of Firefox 3+ thru Firefox 6.0. They often do not align correctly around text (left or right) and if they do, they can NOT be moved by dragging. I've tried this on several computers with various versions of Firefox. It is very inconvenient that whenever I highlight and right-click on text in Writer, both Writer's and my browser's (Firefox 2.0.0.11) right-click menus appear but are overlapping. Since Writer's right-click menu is always the one underneath, it requires a lot of highlighting, right-clicking, and scrolling-about until the feature that I would like to use finally becomes accessible. Hi! We are five people writing in a document. But the content don't seem to get properly saved. The issue get revealed when someone exit the document and later loads it again. During typing the "saving..." sign flashes time to time. We have clicked the saving button. When we later look in history trying to recover lost content the versions seem to be all equal with just minor variations. The document is less than ten pages pure text. No images, tables. I am developing a prototype for incorporating zoho writer into my application and I have the below issue. When I open the document in collaborative mode, the document is loaded and the message says Document ready for collaborative use. But for few users I see the message "Connecting to the server. I cannot save the contents of a writer page in my notebook. The save button do not appear to be active. I have tried using ctrl-s, but that does not save the document either. Whenever I try to log in I get this message, which I never used to get: "Access from this machine is not allowed" I have emailed different support addresses and have not received a reply from any of them in days. I'm the owner of a document that was uploaded into Zoho from MS Word. Two lines in a list appear underlined.
