Overview
The Zoho Backstage Organizer app empowers you to manage event-day operations, providing real-time access to your event details, attendee information, and key features for on-the-go management. This guide will walk you through the essential steps, from downloading the app to managing profile settings, to help you make the most of your event organizing experience.
Prerequisites
Ensure your device meets the minimum OS requirements:
- Android: The Required OS version is Android 10 or higher.
- iOS: The Required OS version is iOS 12 or higher.
Downloading the App
To get started, download the Zoho Backstage Organizer app on your device:
- Download for iOS
- Download for Android
With the app installed, you’ll have the tools you need to organize, manage, and track events all in one place.
Signing in to the Organizer App
Once you’ve installed the app, follow these steps to sign in and access your events:
- Open the app and tap Explore.
- Enter your Zoho credentials or select an available sign-in option (Google, Yahoo, etc.) and tap Next.
- Complete authentication by entering your password or using an authenticator tool.
Event Listing Page
Discover how to easily find, organize, and manage your events on the Event Listing Page. Learn to search for specific events, mark favorites, and sort your list for efficient navigation.
Searching for an Event
Easily find events by name or location with the Search feature:
- Go to the Live, Completed, or Favorites tab based on the event status.
- For iOS: Tap the Search bar, then enter the event name or location.
- For Android: Tap the Search icon in the top-right corner, then enter the event name.
- To add an event to your favorites, tap the Star icon next to the event.
Sorting Events
Organize your events using the Sorting feature:
- Tap the Sorting icon in the top-right corner.
- Select the Sort By option:
- Last Modified
- Creation Date
- Start Date
- Select the Order:
- Ascending
- Descending
- Tap Apply to apply sorting.
Profile Settings
Profile Settings lets you update your organizer profile, switch between portals and spaces, and manage account settings for seamless event management.
To update your account details:
- Tap the Profile icon in the bottom-right corner.
- Tap Edit to update your account details.
- Edit your First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Designation, or Organization.
- Tap Save when you're done.
- To change or upload your display picture, tap Edit Photo.
- You can Take Photo or Choose Photo from your gallery.
Changing Portals
To switch between different event portals associated with this account effortlessly:
- Tap the Profile icon at the bottom-right corner.
- Tap Portal.
- Select a portal from the list of portals.
Changing Spaces
To switch between spaces within your current portal:
- Tap the Profile icon at the bottom-right corner.
- Tap Spaces.
- Select a space from the list of spaces.
Accepting a Portal Invitation
If you've been invited to a portal, you must accept the invitation to access it.
- Tap the Profile icon at the bottom-right corner.
- Tap Portal.
- Tap on the green checkmark to accept the invitation.
Signing Out of Your Account
To sign out of the app:
- Tap the Profile icon at the bottom-right corner.
- Tap Settings and then tap Sign Out.
- In the confirmation pop-up, tap Yes to sign out.
Deleting Your Account

Proceed with caution!
To delete your Zoho account and remove all associated data:
- Tap the Profile icon at the bottom-right corner.
- Tap Settings, then select Delete Account.
- In the confirmation pop-up, tap Proceed to delete your Zoho account.

Deleting your account will permanently remove all account information and data in Zoho Backstage and other Zoho services. You will no longer have access to any Zoho services linked to this account. This is only available in the iOS Organizer app.
