1. In a nutshell 

Zoho Bookings' topmost priority is to provide secure software and ensure protection of users' information and organizational data. The following features help you to protect sensitive information and stay GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) complaint:

2. Feature availability  

  • HIPAA Support and disabling the Anti-spam disclaimer feature is available for the Premium plan, while the Data Deletion feature is available for all plans.


3. Anti-spam disclaimer in email notification 

In email notifications sent to both customer and Bookings user, the footer contains anti-spam disclaimer text, as shown in the below image. To send notifications without this content, you can disable it using the below steps.


3.1 Steps to disable anti-spam disclaimer

  1. Click the Admin Center icon  in the top-right corner of the Bookings menu bar. 
  2. Select Privacy and Security under Data Administration.

  3. Disable the Anti-spam Disclaimer toggle. Once the toggle is disabled, the email notifications will no longer have the anti-spam disclaimer content.

5. Data deletion 

When a customer books an appointment, they can add guest email addresses to attend the appointment along with them. These guest email addresses can be deleted from the Bookings application using the Data Deletion feature.

5.1 Steps to delete guest email addresses

  1. Click the Admin Center icon  in the top-right corner of the Bookings menu bar. 
  2. Under Data Administration, select Privacy and Security.
  1. Under the Data Deletion section, enter the guest email addresses to be deleted in the text area and click Delete.
