Appointments and customers data can be exported from Bookings in .csv or .xlsx format. You can export appointments by selecting a date range and choosing specific fields to be included in the export.
2. Feature availability
- Available for all plans.
- All users can export the appointments and customers that they have access to.
3. Overview
Bookings data might be needed for various purposes like data backup, auditing, analysis for insights, and marketing purposes. Bookings allows you to export appointments and customers' data and download them.
Exporting Appointments:
- Appointments get exported according to the user role. For super admins and admins, all the workspace and event types appointments will be exported. For workspace admins and managers, their assigned workspace appointments will be exported. For staff members, their assigned appointments will be exported.
Exporting Customers :
- Customer export for the Staff role depends on the access permission given under the Roles and Permissions tab. If the user has permission to view all customers, then all customer details will be exported. If the user has permission to view only their customers, then only those customer details will be exported.
4. Steps to export appointment data
- Click the Admin Center icon
on the top-right corner of the Bookings menu bar. - Select Export Data under Data Administration.

- Enter the below details in the Export Data page.
- Module: Select Appointments to export appointment details.
- File Name: Enter the file name for the exporting file.
- Export As: Select the required format. (either CSV or XLSX).
- Start Date: Select the date from which appointments must be exported.
- End Date: Specify the date till when appointments must be exported.
- Include Custom Fields: Select the checkbox if you want the exported file to have the custom fields.
- Fields: Select the fields to be included in the export.
- Select All: This exports all the fields.
(or) - Choose Fields: Select the required fields to be exported.

- Click Export and your file will be downloaded.
5. Steps to export customer data
- Click the Admin Center icon
in the top-right corner of the Bookings menu bar. - Select Export Data under Data Administration.

- Enter the below details in the Export Data page.
- Module: Select Customers to export customer details.
- File Name: Enter the file name for the exporting file.
- Export As: Select the required format. (either CSV or XLSX).
- Fields: Select the fields to be included in the export.
- Select All: This exports all the fields.
(or) - Choose Fields: Select the required fields to be exported.
- Include Custom Fields: Select the checkbox if you want the exported file to have custom fields.

- Click Export and your file will be downloaded.
6. Points to note
- Fields marked as ePHI and PII will not be exported.
- If you have more than 10,000 customers, you will be redirected to a request ticket submission window. Once you submit it, our support team will get back to you with the customer list.
