Create your first pop-up in Zoho PageSense

Choose from predesigned pop-ups in Zoho PageSense to engage customers on your website and use their feedback to improve your business instantly. No coding or design experience needed. All of the pop-up forms can be easily customized and distributed across both desktop and mobile devices to track your visitor metrics. To add pop-up forms to your web page, you must install the PageSense snippet code on all your experiment pages.  

To create a pop-up:
1. Click Pop-Ups on the left pane, and click New Pop-up.



2. Enter a descriptive name and the URL of the web page on which you want to show the pop-up, then click Create.


3. Select the type of pop-up you want to display to users from the left pane of the POP-UP TYPE  page. 
Zoho PageSense offers three types of pop-up:

  • Pop-ups: This type of pop-up appears as a dialog box or full screen pop-up in the middle of the page on a user's PC or mobile device, obscuring the web page content. When it appears, the visitors cannot scroll or continue browsing on the page, until they decide to either subscribe to the special offer or skip it. These are one of the most effective types of pop-ups for attracting visitors and increasing conversions on your website. 
    Example: Signing up for newsletter subscriptions or promoting ebooks, or special product offers.

  • Slide-ins: This type of pop-up appears from the side or corner of your web page and is more suitable if you have some unused space at the sides of your website, or if you feel that the pop-ups are too pushy but still want to promote attractive marketing messages to your customers. 
    Example: Collecting customer feedback, promoting discount coupons, or building up email lists.

  • Banners: This type of pop-up appears as a thin banner at the top or bottom of your web page. Banner can give a huge boost to your conversions and act as a reminder for your visitor to take action or educate users about the website's privacy and security policy, gather new subscribers and target existing users to remind them of a special offer they are eligible for. 
    Example: Announcing new features, providing service updates, or advertising product videos.            
4. Hover over the thumbnail to Preview and Choose a pop-up for your website.



5. Click Next in the top-right corner to complete the remaining pop-up settings.

Important: Ensure that the Zoho PageSense code snippet is installed on all the URLs you want to show the pop-up on.
