What is the activity log feature in Zoho People?
Every day, numerous actions take place within the Zoho People account. Manually tracking these changes can be time-consuming and challenging.
The activity log feature in Zoho People simplifies this process by automatically tracking and storing details of all changes made in the account, retaining the information for up to six months.
This feature also records the user responsible for each action, ensuring transparency and providing a reliable audit trail for accountability and compliance purposes.
The activity log tracks updates from the following actions in Zoho People:
- Services and form customization (including addition of new forms, deletions)
- Permissions
- Records (e.g., adding, editing, bulk updates, imports, exports)
- Data backups
- Mail merge templates
- Files
- Blueprints
- E-signature configurations
- Onboarding
Whenever a configuration is created or data is added or modified, the log records the change along with the name of the employee who made it. The screenshot below shows the activity log.
Accessing activity log in Zoho People
To access the activity log, navigate to Operations > Data Administration > Activity Log

You can apply filters to adjust the displayed activity logs, click the filter (funnel icon

) option, and use the drop-down fields to adjust the filter.
