Zoho Show broadcast allows the audience to join and watch online presentations from anywhere around the globe. It lets you and the presenter to connect and share ideas effortlessly. Participants can quickly connect to the broadcast session through the web without any software installation. They can receive the URL link through email or other channels, and join the broadcast session by opening it in a browser. When the presenter begins, participants can see the presentation in their local browser in real time, and can submit their questions in the chat panel. The presented slides can be downloaded for future reference after the presenter exits the broadcast.
Requirements to join the broadcast
Zoho Show is compatible with all standard web browsers, including Google Chrome, Ulaa, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. To make sure you have the best experience possible, we recommend you update your browser to its latest version. Audience can also join using the
Zoho Show app for Android.
Accept the invite and join the broadcast
Your participants can join the broadcast using the broadcast URL link sent by you in the invitation. Joining the broadcast is simple and does not require a password.
To join the broadcast,
1. Have the participant click the broadcast URL link shared.
This will open the broadcast window as shown below.
2. The participant can edit the guest name to add their name and click continue to join the broadcast.

Note: The guest name can also be edited under the list of participants on the right panel.
3. Once you start the broadcast, the first slide will appear on the participant's window.

During the broadcast, the participant can use the broadcast screen options to traverse between the slides, check the list of participants that have joined the broadcast, and raise queries on the chat panel.
- Slide Preview: Click the
icon to get a thumbnail view of the completed slides and to jump to a specific slide in the presentation. All completed slides have a green tick mark.
- List of Participants: Click the
icon to check the list of participants watching the presentation along with you.
- Get in sync: Your participant can jump to any of the completed slides and get in sync with the current slide broadcast by clicking the Get in sync button.
Interact during the broadcast
Your participants can ask questions and express their views through the chat panel.
To interact during the broadcast,
Your participant goes to the chat window, types in the questions or comments in the and clicks enter. All the active participants can view and reply to the questions in the panel.
Rejoin the broadcast
If the internet connection is lost during the broadcast session, your participants can easily rejoin.
To rejoin a broadcast session,
- Middle of the session: Your participant can click the broadcast URL link you sent to view the ongoing broadcast screen.
- Network issues (Lost internet connection): Your participant can reload the browser link in their web browser. They can catch up with the slides being presented.
Request control to present
Collaborators that have been given access to the presentation can present their ideas during the broadcast by requesting control from the presenter. Shared collaborators have an extra button on the right panel to request control.
To request control to present (as a shared collaborators),
1. Click the Request button to request access.
2. After being given control, the broadcast screen will change to include additional broadcast screen options, such as view presenter notes, upcoming slides, blackout slides, and much more.
3. After presenting ideas, click
Return to return the control to the main presenter.

Note: The presenter can revoke (take back) control of the presentation from the collaborator during the presentation using the Revoke button on the presenter screen.
Download and save the presentation
As a presenter, you can share your slides with interested participants after your session is complete. Once you have granted permission, your participants can download and save the presentation.
- As an MS PowerPoint Presentation (.pptx format).
- As a PDF (.pdf format).
- Save to Account - Only a Zoho account holder can save the presentation to his/her Zoho Docs folder.
Your participants can interact using the Chat panel even after you have finished the presentation.
