In this article, we'll learn how to schedule messages.
You can schedule messages in one-on-one chats, groups, and channels. Mentioned below are the options available.
Scheduling Options | Available When |
After Check-In/Check-Out | User has checked out/in. |
When Available | User has set any other status besides "Available". |
Tomorrow at 9:00 AM | Always. |
Monday at 9:00 AM | User schedules a message between Friday evening (6:00 PM) to Saturday midnight. |
After Call or Meeting Ends | User is in a call or meeting. |
Custom Date and Time | Always. |
Type the message in the chat box.
Click the drop-down arrow next to the Send button.
Select your preferred option for when you want the message to be delivered.
The schedule message list will open. You can keep adding more scheduled messages.
Notes:
You can schedule messages in groups and channels with the options Tomorrow at 9:00 AM and Custom Date and Time.
You can schedule attachments and emojis.
Type the message in the chat box.
Click the drop-down arrow next to the Send button.
In the pop-up that opens, select either Tomorrow at 9:00 AM or Custom Date and Time.
Click the current time zone label.
Search for and select the desired time zone using the search box, or by scrolling through the list of options.
To reschedule a scheduled message:
Hover over the scheduled message.
Click the Reschedule icon.
In the pop-up that opens, select the new option for when you want the message to be delivered.
To reschedule all messages, check the checkbox below the options.
Click Reschedule.
Hover over the scheduled message.
Click the Edit icon.
Make the necessary changes in the chat box.
Click the return key to save the changes.
To send scheduled messages immediately:
Navigate to the chatbox and open the scheduled messages.
Hover over the messages you want to send now.
Click the Send Now icon.
Hover over the scheduled message.
Click the Delete icon.
In the alert that appears, click Delete.
