Managing Scheduled Messages in Trident (Windows)

In this article, we'll learn how to schedule messages in the Cliq module of Trident.

Scheduling a Message 

You can schedule messages in one-on-one chats, groups, and channels. Mentioned below are the options available.


Scheduling Options

Available When

After Check-In/Check-Out

User has checked out/in.

When Available

User has set any other status besides "Available". 

Tomorrow at 9:00 AM

Always.

Monday at 9:00 AM

User schedules a message between Friday evening (6:00 PM) to Saturday midnight

After Call or Meeting Ends

User is in a call or meeting.

Custom Date and Time

Always.


To schedule a message:
  1. Type the message in the chat box.

  2. Click the drop-down arrow next to the Send button.

  3. Select your preferred option for when you want the message to be delivered.

  4. The schedule message list will open. You can keep adding more scheduled messages.



Notes

Notes:

  • You can schedule up to 25 messages at a time.

  • You can schedule messages in groups and channels with the options Tomorrow at 9:00 AM and Custom Date and Time.  

  • You can schedule attachments and emojis.

 

Scheduling a Message in a Foreign Time Zone

If you frequently communicate with colleagues from different time zones, you can schedule messages in the timezone of your colleague so that the message reaches them during their working hours. To schedule a message in a foreign time zone:

  1. Type the message in the chat box.

  2. Click the drop-down arrow next to the Send button.

  3. In the pop-up that opens, select either Tomorrow at 9:00 AM or Custom Date and Time.

  4. Click the current time zone label.

  5. Search for and select the desired time zone using the search box, or by scrolling through the list of options. 



The scheduled message will be listed according to your local time zone. To view the time zone in which the messages were scheduled, click the time zone icon next to the scheduled message.


Rescheduling a Message 

To reschedule a scheduled message:

  1. Hover over the scheduled message and click the Reschedule  icon. 
  2. In the pop-up that opens, select the new option for when you want the message to be delivered.

  3. To reschedule all messages, check the checkbox below the options.

  4. Click Reschedule.



Editing a Scheduled Message

To edit a scheduled message:

  1. Hover over the scheduled message and click the Edit  icon. 

  2. Make the necessary changes in the chat box.

  3. Click enter to save the changes.



Sending Scheduled Messages Immediately 

To send scheduled messages immediately:

  1. Navigate to the chat box and open the scheduled messages.

  2. Hover over the messages you want to send immediately.

  3. Click the Send Now  icon.

Note: To send all messages at once, click the Send All button from the top-right corner of the Scheduled Messages tab.

Deleting a Scheduled Message 

To delete a scheduled message:

  1. Hover over the scheduled message and click the Delete  icon.

  2. In the alert that appears, click Delete.
