You can create two types of notes in Trident:
Personal notes: Notes that are created under My Personal Notes. These notes are private; no one can access them unless you share them with a team member or a Streams group.
Group notes: Notes that are created directly under the corresponding Streams group. Everyone who is a part of the Streams group will be able to view and comment on these notes.
Under the Views section, you have the option to quickly filter and see all of your notes, notes on your PC, favorite notes, and notes that were shared with you.
My Notes: Lists all of the notes you have created using the Notes module in Trident.
On my PC: Lists all of the notes created in Trident that are stored locally and not synced with any cloud service.
Favorites: Lists all of the notes you have starred.
Shared With Me: Lists all of the notes that other users have shared with you via Streams.
Below Views, you'll find all the Streams groups that you are a part of. You can access all of the notes created in those groups by clicking on the corresponding group name.
Any tag that you've created in the Mail module will appear in the Notes module as well. You can apply these tags to the notes you've created, and accordingly, you can filter your notes by these tags.
Whether you've been removed from a Streams group or if the group is closed for all participants, it's referred to as a Disabled Group. While you cannot share new notes with disabled groups, you'll still be able to view, edit, and tag existing notes.
The Notes Editor is your dedicated space to collect your thoughts into focused, retraceable information. With the help of its rich-text editing options, you can draft content and add reference images, checklists, links, and attachments.
There are two ways to customize viewing your Notes List and accessing your Notes Editor.
List View | The notes will be listed one below the other, and the selected Note Editor will be open next to the list. | |
Grid View | The notes will be listed in a grid from which you can directly access the Notes Editor of the note in selection. |
