How do I center text in the middle of the page in Writer?
Overview
Centering of a text to the middle of a page is on our roadmap and will be available soon.
There is a workaround that you can use to achieve the same result – by inserting a textbox. Here are the steps to insert a text box and place it in the middle of your document
Steps
- Go to the Insert pane and select Text Box. A text box will appear on the page.
- Type your content directly or paste it into the text box.
- Use the formatting options to customize the font, size, color, and more.
- Drag the corners of the text box to resize it as needed, then reposition it on the page.
- For precise placement, click the text box, go to Text Box Options, and open the Positioning dropdown.
- Under Page, select Center to align the text box in the middle of the page.
