Import Test Cases
If you are already managing your test cases in a sheet, you can easily import the test cases using the Import Test Cases option under Imports in Workspace Settings.
To import test cases:
- Click the gear icon at the top-right corner. The Settings window will appear.
- Select Test Cases under Imports.
- Select the project to which the items need to be imported.
- Click the Upload your file link to search and locate the file.
- Select a project in the Select Project field from the dropdown.
- Select a folder in the Select Folder field from the dropdown.
- Click Import. The file will be selected to import. Next, you will be redirected to data mapping.
You can download a sample XLS, XLSX, and CSV file to try out importing.
Map data
You need to map data in the file to sprint data format to enable smooth and meaningful transition.
Field mapping
The list of sprint fields will be displayed. This includes fields like Description, Expected Result, Name, Priority, Type, Duration, Folder, Preconditions and Step. A dropdown field will be displayed against each of the fields, allowing you to pick data from the file you're importing. This enables you to map the file data with the sprint data format. When this mapping is done, your imported items will be in the proper sprint format.
Once done, click Import as Draft or Import as Published, to import the file into Zoho Sprints. You can also import with available sample XLS, CSV file.
You will be notified via email once the import is completed.
