Zoho Sprints comes with a custom option that allows you to create your own tags. These tags can be unique and are color coded to help you quickly identify and filter the entities as needed. Tags are the quickest and easiest way to group a similar set of entities based on a specific category. They can be added to your work items, projects, releases, epics, sprints, and OKRs for easy identification.
Benefits
- Quickly identify the entities that are in a particular category.
- Filter entities based on their tags to view select entities belonging to it.
- Customize your view to organize the entities based on the tags.
- View entities associated with a tag across different entities in a single screen.
Use cases
Let's assume your team works on three different processes simultaneously and has work items scattered randomly. You can build a classification system using tags. Let's say the three different processes are integrations, a product roadmap, and new enhancements. You can create individual tags for these three and associate the work items to the relevant tags.
Let's say your organization works on a variety of projects that cater to different verticals. When you need to view projects belonging to specific verticals, tags help create that filtering mechanism. When the projects are tagged based on their verticals, for example healthcare or insurance, you can drill down your data to those specific categories easily.
Accessibility
- Admins and workspace owners can add, edit, delete, associate, and dissociate tags for all the modules across projects.

- Users can associate or dissociate tags from the entities only when they have the permission to edit the entities.

Cluster tags allow you to efficiently manage and filter entities by their work scope, making it much easier to organize and filter relevant information when needed.
For instance, a quality assurance team in an organization will test all the new features that is planned to be released within their product. They will test the feature across multiple Operating Systems to ensure the feature's stability across all machines. The Quality Assurance team can use this Cluster Tags to group the issues filed based on OS.
OS::Windows
OS::Mac
OS::Linux
OS::Android
OS::iOS
OS::Unix
With the Cluster Tags, they can filter out and view bugs filed related to all OS: Cluster tag - "OS". Or they can also view bugs related to a specific browser: Tag name - "OS::Windows".
