Improve "customer notes"
Hi, I tried to use the current "customer notes" at Zoho Invoice, but was very disappointed on the poor functionality. If you select a customer, there is a space in the very lowest part, where you can add a note for your internal use. This note is not shown for the customer. This would be good to use, for example to add simple notes on dates, calls and content of discussion you had with your customer. However, the bad point is that when entering data in this field and click on "save"....then all information

How to edit default fields while exporting to a exel file
Hello, I am new to Zoho.I am using Zoho Invoice to manage my invoice requirements.I have tried to export my invoices to a excel file.I found that there are too many fields are there in that excel file.I want some basic fields to be there while exporting to a excel file.Is there any setting to edit the default data fields so that excel files can be customized during export.I am ready to test Zoho API for this case.Thank you Hriday

Invoice Clients that signed a term plan agreement
Some of my clients sign a term plan agreement, i.e. they pay in 1 to 3 payments for their purchases, where the agreements specifies exact date of payment or number of days after a milestone is reached or as a percentage of the agreement at each payment. I could not see such an option in Zoho Invoice. Is there such an option.
Recording payment
Currently, credit card is an option for recording payment. Is there an option to split or add forms of payment into Visa, Mastercard and Amex? Thanks
Invoice entry view & quick search
I run a retail business with over 2000 items. When I choose and select items to go onto the invoice, i'm running into a problem where once a item is selected, the box is so short that I cannot see what the item is that I have selected. Once I click the box again, the items does not appear to allow me to confirm. So my questions is whether the invoice entry view can be adjusted, because I adjusted the PDF view once it's exported.... Also, because there's 2000+ items, the quick search box allows only
Custom Template - Export to PDF?
At the moment, the Export option for a custom invoice template offers an html file. Any chance of offering it as a pdf, as with the standard templates? I'd not looked at Zoho for almost a year so I'm very pleased to find this invoicing facility has been added -- I'm seriously considering switching from Blinksale!
Why is there no information on downtime?
So again Zoho is completely off the air for 30 minutes this morning and right now is apparently crippled judging from the speed of the service. Last outage I learned that you don't answer the support number when you've crashed so I'm left wondering why I'm wondering what's going on? Would it be so hard to send out an email to customers telling us what the status is, when you expect to have it fixed, etc.? Maybe an announcement on the support page or the forums? These things would go a long way in
Zoho invoice banner at the bottom of ALL my emails
Hi, we are a small firm considering using Zoho Invoice. We are user of Gmail Enterprise. We are currently testing Zoho invoicing and found that EVERY email we receive OR send to OR from anyone has a Zoho Invoice at the bottom of each email. Help with customization of Invoice
Hi: I am trying to figure out if I can use Zoho Invoice for my company. I need to REALLY customize my invoice, not just the basics, but to have 8 custom fields I made in CRM to print out on the ZOHO invoice ion the appropriate place (sort of a merge with text) Is this possible? Thx, Russ
Invoice template issue
On my invoice template: the tag : Invoice Total: %Total% would render something like : Invoice Total: USD736.85 Invoice Balance due: USD736.85 I don't like the format "USD736.85" because when I search for the amount 736.85 in Gmail it does not render the right results. I recommend using "USD 736.85" instead of "USD736.85". Note the space? Thanks!!!!

Zoho invoice automation: How to automate sending of invoice email?
I have a requirement whereby I need to send out Zoho Invoice email from my zoho creator application i.e. the creator application generates invoices and emails them out (something I would manually do by going into the Zoho Invoice interface and click "Send Email" on the right of the invoice. I have tried the integration tasks and there does not seem to be a method to accomplish this. Any work around? Any hack? Thanks and Regards, Moiz Tankiwala

Hi, from 3 months i am using Zoho invoices. 1st 1 month i am getting cc mails to my mail id accounts@shellbg.com, but from 2 months i am not getting cc mails to my inbox, at the same time customers getting my invoices and mails. May i know why it happens?
How to setup 1 Customer with many sub locations
Can we setup 1 Customer and create many locations to under it. Say 1 customer owns 3 gas stations. I want all of 3 locations to be linked to the customer but each location to create their own invoices.
Continued payment reminders
It looks like after the 3rd payment reminder no more will be sent. Is there a way to tell it to keep sending reminders (every week for example) until the invoice is paid? Thanks, -Dane

Payments Received with Paypal are not editable
When we receive a payment through paypal, Zoho Invoice does not allow us to update that payment. Since zoho does not automatically update currency conversion rates, this means that when we receive a paypal payment we have no way to enter the currency conversion rate applicable on that date. Zoho invoice automatically assumes it to be the same as on the invoice. Is this not a bug? Has somebody else noticed this as well? Thanks, Prabhash
Zoho Invoice, sub category option to track Expences in specific projects within the organisation ?
My question is, how can I add specific stand alone projects under subscribed organisations, I am in the construction industry and I need to separated Expences for each project so that I can track and analys each project with its own income and expenditure, also I need to also have some kind of drop down menu to select the account certain Expences have been paid from. Is all this possible or not? And if it is x how and what do I do. You're assistance would be greatly appreciate. Thx Ned

"Save" & "Cancel" buttons at top of "Edit Invoice" page
A quick suggestion: I think it would be great to have save and cancel buttons at the top of the Edit Invoice form, as well as at the bottom. Nearly of the info that needs to be entered/edited on a regular basis is at or near the top of the form, not the bottom, so it would be very convenient to have save and cancel buttons up there, instead of having to scroll all the way down past the paypal/google info and the customer notes and T&C info just to get to the buttons. Zoho Invoice sync with Multicurrency Zoho CRM
Dear team, I have the multicurrency enabled with Zoho CRM. I have also activated since a while the sync between Zoho Invoice and Zoho CRM to pull out the clients. I have setup the currencies in Zoho Invoice and in Zoho CRM. I have chosen some different currencies for my customers in Zoho CRM. However, when I perform the sync, I see that this currency information is not part of the shared data. I need to modify again the currency in Zoho Invoice. Could you please sync the currency between the 2 products?
Export Invoices Produces an Error
When I try to export invoices in either format I get the following error page: This webpage is not found No webpage was found for the web address: https://invoice.zoho.com/zohobooks/ExportAction.do?operationType=export&fileType=2&entityID=20 Error 6 (net::ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND): The file or directory could not be found. I get this error in Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer.

TAX calculation based on actual price not the rounded price
Hi, We can see that when we use Zoho API to generate invoice, it does not calculate tax on the actual price of the item. Rather, it calculates tax on the rounded price. This creates an issue for us. Here is the example. Say, there is 10% tax and the actual price of the item is 54.54545 AUD. What happens here, Invoice shows Price (actual) Price(rounded) Item 54.54545 54.55 TAX
Zoho Invoice - Calculate tax on rounded Price issue
I have product with price $60.00 including 10% tax. So, I set Tax = GST = 10% in settings. What price should I have to pass to Create Invoice API to get invoice with Total amount $60? If I pass $54.55 then Zoho calculate total price $60.01 and when I pass 54.54 then Zoho calculate total price $59.99, so I am not getting right invoice with total amount $60.00. I found that Why Zoho calculate tax on rounded price instead of calculate tax on price and then round it? Why there is not any option to pass

Payment reminder - %OverdueDays% is possible, but what about due days?
Does %OverdueDays% act as due days when sending a reminder for an open invoice? If not, would it be possible to have a %DueDays% tag? Thanks.

Reverting Open invoice to Draft
I accidently converted a draft invoice to open, and can't determine how to change it back (in the event that it throws my reporting off of how long invoices are open)
Sort order of Tasks
Using time records, adding tasks to a project, the tasks appear in the order they are entered rather than sorted into alpha order, which makes it hard to find related tasks, for example Programming: Coding Programming: Design Programming: Testing would make sense to follow each other, rather than being scattered around the task list. Is it possible to re-order or sort tasks?

if the customer is paying advance payment for the product that i invoice so how can i find that pending order because it is showing closed in the report or in the invoice page ? A little thing should be implemented in this application and it is delivery status, after completing the invoice and payment there should be a option for delivery .

I am signing in as the administor but as I am scrolling through the screen suddenly changes to one of the staff users. Also I have just written two invoices today but they are not showing on my screen (however the new contact details have been saved). HELP!!
cancel queued snail mail invoices
In trying to snail mail invoices last night I received emails stating they could not be processed at that time due to internal problems. I HAVE to get these invoices out ASAP so will be printing them and mailing them myself. Meanwhile, I don't want clients to receive a second, identical invoice. Any suggestions on how to cancel queued invoices? Also, this isn't the first time I've had problems with snail mail. Need help. Thanks, Trudy Hibler
