- Retail Premium Template Type (All Editions)The new Retail Premium template will allow you to accommodate more details in documents you print on thermal printers. You can include the billing address, shipping address, terms and conditions, and additional fields. You can use this template for estimates, invoices, and credit notes.To customize the template: Go to Settings > Templates > Invoices/Estimates/Credit Notes > +New > Retail (in the tab) and select Retail- Premium
- Option to export financial data for DATEV (for customers in Germany)The cooperative DATEV is a software company and IT service provider for tax consultants, auditors, and lawyers as well as their clients. We have provided an option to export financial transactions from Zoho Books in a format that’s compatible with DATEV. After export, you can import the data directly into DATEV and file your returns online.Go to Preferences > Accountant to get started.
- Zoho Books - SurePayroll Integration (US)Automate your payroll accounting with the Zoho Books - SurePayroll integration. SurePayroll is an online payroll management software that offers one-click payroll with federal and labor law compliance and integration with time and attendance systems. This integration fetches data from SurePayroll to Zoho Books and records it in the corresponding journals. These transactions will later be collated and put together as reports.To integrate: Go to Settings > Integrations > Other Apps and select SurePayroll.On successful integration, all your SurePayroll transactions will be automatically fetched into Zoho Books. Learn more about the integration from our help document.
- Bulk update the TDS rates for vendors (India)The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) had reduced the Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) rates by 25% (for transactions created from 14 May 2020 to 1 March 2021) to help businesses cope with the pandemic. However, from 1 April 2021 they have normalised it, and you'll have deduct TDS at the normal rate in the respective transactions.To comply with this, you can now do an advanced search in the Vendors module based on TDS rates and bulk update the vendors for whom the TDS has been reduced. This will normalize the TDS rates in the future transactions created for these vendors.To bulk update: Go to Purchases > Vendors, select the vendors for whom you wish to change the TDS rate, and click Update TDS.
