Count new customers in graph
Hey there,
I have a small question:
I want to see in a graph how many new customers we created in each month.
So I want analytics to look for sales orders in a given month and count every order that came from a new customer for that month.
I thought I could easily do this with a graph, where the x-axis is the order date from the sales orders module (by month&year) and the y-axis is the account-ID (set to "individual count" in a running sum).
However, it counts only individually in the given month, not for the whole timeframe. So If a customer has 3 orders in a month, Analytics counts it as 1, but if the same customer has orders a month later, the account is counted again, distorting the numbers.
Do you have an idea how to make only new or first entries count?
Is there a different approach to see how many new customers we got in a given month?
