[Update: Feb 6,2023] Document generation for signature collection using Writer's Sign Templates will consume API credits
Hello Everyone!
As mentioned earlier, we've started utilizing API credits, from Feb 4, 2023, for all bulk and automated document generation using Writer's Sign Templates for signature collection.

Document generation by merging data from Zoho Form, Zoho People, Zoho CRM, Zoho Recruit, or any data source using Writer's Merge Templates consumes API credits as it is a resource intensive operation.
Sign Templates in Writer are converted to a document and then sent to Sign services for Signature collection. This again is resource intensive. Until now, it's API usage was not metered as the volume was less. In the last few months though, it has increased drastically.
Therefore, we will be charging API credits for all bulk and automated document generation using Writer's Sign Template for signature collection operations as well. For example, creating a PDF document in Writer for signature collection will consume one API credit.
We will start consuming API credits from February 1, 2023.
