Enhance email sending for custom functions in Zoho Connect
Dear Customer,
We would like to share an important update to how emails are sent via Custom Functions (Deluge) in Zoho Connect.
What's new?
To improve security and email deliverability:
- The From Address in the Send Mail task used in Custom Functions must be one of the following:
- Zoho.adminuserid
- Zoho.loginuserid
- A verified email address
- If an email address is not verified, it won't be delivered. The send email task will be skipped. To verify the email domain, you need to set up the custom email.
Once the custom email is enabled, notification emails will be only be delivered through the email address you specify.
How to verify your email address
To use your preferred email address as the From Address:
- Once verified, the email address will be ready for use.
When will this change take effect?
This update will be implemented on February 10, 2025.
