Introducing Bigin Premier: Multi-currency, Advanced Workflows and more!
Hello everyone,
We are thrilled to announce an all-new edition of Bigin which packs several new features like Multi-currency, Advanced workflows, Custom lookup fields and more - Premier edition. Here is a comprehensive video on what you should know.
Going forward Bigin will be available in three editions - Free, Express and Premier.
What is the Premier edition?
The Premier edition sits on top of the Express edition and comes with additional features that will cater to businesses that require some advanced features. In addition to this, Bigin Premier also gets 10 pipelines, storage for 100,000 records, and increased limits for features like custom fields, mass emails, email templates etc.
New features in Bigin Premier
The Premier edition comes with the following new features in addition to the features available in Express.
Multi-currency
Any organization that deals with customers from different countries needs to conduct transactions in the customer's local currency.. But manually converting the currency you operate with into the local currency is a tedious and complex process. Here's where Bigin's Multi-currency saves your time and has these conversions readily available. With Multi-currency, you can set different currencies for different deal records and Bigin will take care of the exchange rate conversions.
A lookup field helps link two records in different modules. Let us assume you want to associate your vendor company and the customer's company to a deal. Here, you can create a custom look up field to associate the Companies module with the Deals module.
You can now set up date/time based triggers in workflow rules. For example, you can configure a workflow rule to create a task for a user to follow up on a deal if it is inactive for longer than 15 days.
Furthermore, you can schedule actions like email notifications, creating tasks, updating fields to be executed at a specified date/time after a workflow is triggered. You can schedule them in a sequential basis too. For example, you can create a workflow that sends out different emails to contacts when they sign up and then again on the 1st, 2nd and 4th day since they signed up for your business.
Some of the data captured in the pipeline are important information that helps to close the deal. They must be captured by the reps but it is not ideal to make these fields mandatory as the reps might not have those information during deal creation. Stage Transition Rules let you specify the fields that needs to be filled by the users when they move a deal from one stage to another.
You can also create pipeline-specific restrictions that prevent a deal from being directly closed from specific stages. This prevents a deal from being closed prematurely and lets it traverse through the necessary stages. For example, you can restrict a deal from directly being closed from the stages 'Not Contacted', 'Qualified', 'Needs Analysis'.
Bigin Premier will be priced at $12 /user/month billed annually, and $15 /user/month billed monthly.
Are there any changes in Bigin Express Edition?
Yes, once the Premier edition is launched, new sign ups for Bigin Express will be offered:
1. Multiple Pipelines: 3 pipelines instead of 5.
2. Tags: 10 tags per module, instead of 20.
3. Custom fields: 10 custom fields per module, instead of 20.
4. Workflow rules: 10 workflow rules per organization, instead of 20.
5. Webforms: 3 webforms, instead of 5.
Note: These changes will not affect existing customers of Bigin Express. The above changes will only apply to new Express customers that sign up on or after November 19, 2021.
What are the changes in Zoho One?
So far we've offered the Express edition of Bigin for Zoho One users. From next week onwards we'll offer Bigin's Premier edition for Zoho One users.
