It's important to understand the concepts — of why and how something works, before we actually get to work on it.
When you understand the science behind a microwave oven, you will be able to operate it more efficiently and safely. When you learn more about the mechanics of a car, you'll become more confident at driving. When you understand how the stock market works, you'll make better investment decisions.
We all do a lot of everyday tasks — but when we acquire knowledge on the key concepts of the subject at its core, we become naturally better at it, and are more confident.
The "CRM Admin Chat Room" is one such initiative which has been started with the objective of spreading knowledge on key sales concepts. Before you go ahead and deploy CRM settings and configurations, have you understood enough about the subject?
For instance, you need to understand the sales cycle before you work on leads—contacts conversion.
You need to understand process management before you create a blueprint.
You have to discuss more on analytics and insights you are interested in, before you actually begin to create a report in CRM.
