For social media marketers, planning your social calendar and deciding when and which posts have to be published are some of your most important tasks. These save a lot of time and effort, rather than having to make the decision right at the time of publishing. You can also ensure that whether you're present or not, the post will go live at the scheduled time, without any trouble, and help in getting the traction you desire.
Imagine that you have your calendar planned for the week, with some content about sales and discounts. All the links attached to the posts will redirect audiences to your website where you've announced the discounts at your stories. But due to some unexpected server issue, your website has crashed and now all the planned posts will only redirect audiences to a broken link. That doesn't sound really good, right?
To handle unprecedented situations like this, Zoho Social has a feature to
pause and resume posts that you've already scheduled in the publishing calendar. You can pause all your posts through a single click and then resume them when ready. Once you resume the posts, you can reschedule them in the same sequence as planned, after altering the dates and time wherever required.
You can reschedule the posts from the Settings page, under Publishing settings, at any time.If there are posts that have lapsed during this pause mode, you can republish or reschedule them from the Unpublished posts section under the Posts tab. Zoho Social also allows you to use a pop-up to notify your team members about this action right when you pause the posts. So you can be sure that everyone concerned is informed about the pause, and nobody will attempt to post anything until an admin resumes the posts. In cases where someone still tries to post, they will be warned again.
So the next time you face an issue like this where your schedule could be in trouble, don't worry—we've got you covered! Just go ahead and pause your posts.
Thank you.
