Spotlight #5 Enrich your data from emails efficiently with Zia

Zia for Emails

Emails are the official go-to place for important information regarding meeting schedules, business agendas, addresses, invoices etc. Any and every business spends too much time locating and entering data manually into their CRM database. 
 
To understand this better, let's take the instance of an automobile manufacturer. Like every other business, there's an influx of leads. Naturally, this means a mix of leads - business leads and customer leads alike, spanning across the world. Here, it relies heavily on emails which inadvertently leads to manual work. Zia for emails automates repetitive tasks and captures data with high accuracy, freeing your time to focus more on closing deals efficiently.

Zia Data Enrichment

Once a record is created in your CRM account, it becomes increasingly difficult to modify its information due to the necessary periodic data update. Manually staying on top of all the record modifications and ensuring to update every one of them adds up to a lot of work. 
 
With Zia's data enrichment for email signatures, automatically populate the data in CRM, and keep updating it with no hassle. Capture your customers' personal information such as website, contact number, company name, social handles, designation, company location, and address, right within your email and store it in CRM. 

To enable data enrichment for email signatures:
  • Select a record from any module 
  • Open an received email from the record's related list
  • Click Enrich data 


  • Ensure that field mapping under data enrichment by Zia is configured to automate it


  • Hit, "update leads".

Note: In CRM, there are certain frequently used fields called enrichment fields that include fax, designation, phone number, last name, and email, etc. Possibilities of referring these fields with different names in the CRM account might lead to field mismatch. To avoid field mismapping or incorrect data entry, you can map these enriched fields with the right CRM field manually. 



Note that data enrichment in Zoho CRM and Zia data enrichment for emails are two different features. The data enrichment feature in Zoho CRM gathers data directly from a website or collates information from the web. Thus, the collected data is generic. Whereas parsing from an email signature makes it more personal and specific. So, the data is more reliable and accurate. The users need not manually update the required information. Zia will capture the data with high accuracy from their emails.



Though Zia has been there for a while, it still has a way to go, and there may be some initial hiccups in getting Zia tuned to your business. However, the more you use it, the better it gets.
