1. In a nutshell

Reports are used to view statistics about your bookings and revenue, which can be based upon your users, the event types offered, and the appointment status. It helps you understand various aspects of the business, such as how it's functioning, which event types and users are the most popular, and more.


2. Feature availability

  • Super admins, admins, workspace admins, and managers can create and edit the reports 
  • Staff cannot create or access the reports.

3. Overview

In Bookings, reports provide valuable insights into business performance, highlight popular event types, identify high-demand users, and more, helping you understand key aspects of your business. They also help track customer preferences, appointment trends, and overall revenue performance. This analysis allows you to boost revenue and streamline your business operations.  

4. Usecase

Imagine you are managing an IT organization with multiple teams handling various functions like client acquisition, customer support, and technical problem resolution. To stay on top of performance and make informed decisions, you need detailed reports.


With Zoho Bookings Reports, you can easily understand the key metrics such as sales, ticket resolution times, team productivity, and customer satisfaction. Access to these reports helps you to identify trends, evaluate performance, and implement strategies to improve efficiency, close deals faster, and deliver exceptional service.

5. Steps to generate a report

  1. Click the Admin Center  icon, then click Reports under the Modules section.    



  1. Click the + New Report button in the top-right corner to create a new report.



  2. Specify a name for the report under Report Name on the slider, which appears from the right.



  1. Select Bookings or Revenue under Report Type.

  • Bookings Report: Shows the number of appointments, booking trends, and customer activity.
  • Revenue Report: Tracks earnings, payments received, and overall financial performance.



  1. Select a required choice from the Select Report based on dropdown. The data generated in the report is based on this selection.



  1. Select a From and To value in the Date Range to generate a report for a specified time range.



    If you choose the Custom Range option, you will need to specify the From and To dates to generate the report.



  2. Click Add to generate a report based on the selected values.



     You can view the generated report



You can generate a report to track booking trends and revenue, and easily compare them in the future. You can generate as many reports as you need. For example, you can create a report to check booking statistics for a specific user, another report to track revenue for a particular event type, and so on.

6. Manage reports

  • You can modify the filters of any existing report by clicking the edit option.



    You can edit the Name of the report, Report Type, Report Based On, Workspace and Date Range. Click Add to save the changes.



  • You can duplicate any existing report by clicking on the Duplicate option. The duplicated report will be saved and named as a copy of the existing report. You can edit the duplicated report and save the changes. 

  • You can delete any existing report by clicking on the delete option.  


    NotesNote: Once a report is deleted, it will be permanently removed from your Zoho Bookings account. However, you can always generate a new report by using the same criteria.


7. Points to note

  • The generated reports are accessible to super admins, admins, workspace admins, and managers of the Bookings account.

  • Reports cannot be shared.
