In a nutshell
The Early Access Features page provides an exclusive preview of upcoming features in Zoho Creator, allowing you to explore and use the new features before they are made available to all users. This page is designed for users who want to explore, test, and provide early feedback. The features listed on this page are still under active development and may undergo refinements or have certain functional limitations until they are rolled out for General Availability.
Feature availability
Early access features:
- Are available only in the Creator 6 version (cloud and on-premise)
- Are available only for users in paid plans
- Can be enabled/disabled, tested, and given feedbacks by super admin and admins, while developers, live users, and portal users can access them in their app's live mode based on their pricing plan
1. Overview
Early access features are upcoming capabilities that are exclusively available to a limited audience before their general rollout. They allow users to explore new functionalities, experiment with enhancements, and evaluate improvements. These features are fully functional, but may still undergo refinements based on real-world feedback, performance validation, and usability insights. By trying early access features, users can also stay ahead of upcoming updates, while actively contributing to shaping the feature before it becomes part of the core product experience.
In Zoho Creator, early access features are pre-release functionalities made available for testing and feedback. The
Early Access Features page provides a centralized interface within Creator, where
super admin and admins can view, enable, and test early access product features at the organization level.
Unlike
General Availability features, early access features are still evolving and may not be production-ready. They may include work-in-progress documentation or configuration constraints.
Super admins and admins can also submit feedback for these features directly from Creator, which is then automatically routed to the respective support agent. The submitted feedback for an early access feature will be reviewed before it is rolled out for general availability and the user who has submitted the feedback will be notified via email. This page aims to streamline early feature adoption, simplify feedback collection, and ensure timely product improvements.
Note: While early access features are generally stable enough for evaluation and usage, they are not yet recommended for business-critical processes.1.1 Purpose of early access features
As the super admin or admin of your organization, you can enable the required early access features to:
- Validate their functionality and performance in real-world scenarios
- Identify usability gaps and edge cases before full release
- Share feedback to refine the feature
Note: The design and behavior of early access features are subject to change as we continue to refine them based on feedback. Support may be limited until the feature reaches general availability, and such features may be modified, replaced, or removed if they do not align with our long-term
product roadmap.
