Kanban cards are an easy and dynamic way to visualize your issue workflow. In the Kanban view, issues are arranged on Kanban boards, with each board representing either Status (the default and custom status created for the issue), Severity (the severity of the issue), Module (the module the issue belongs to), Classification (the type of issue), or Reproducible (whether the issue is reproducible or not), so that every team member knows what’s required to be done at any time.

Global Kanban View
Global Kanban View displays issues as cards across projects. Click Issues under the Overview section in the left navigation panel to access the Global Issues. In the Kanban view, issues can be viewed based on the Issue Key, Project name, Image Preview, and Bottom Tray.

- Drag and drop issue cards across status to change issue status. Each Kanban board represents an issue status.
- Use Show option drop-down to show or hide Issue key, Project name, Image preview, and Bottom tray in the card.
Project Kanban View
- Select a project from the Recent Projects section or from the Projects tab in the left navigation panel and then click Issues in the top band.
- Select Kanban from the drop-down.
- Issues can be viewed based on the Issue Key, Image Preview, and Bottom Tray. Use Show options drop-down to show or hide Issue key, Image preview, and Bottom tray in the card.
Predefined Views
- View issues based on preset views.
- Select a preset view from the drop-down menu. Hover over a view, click to add it to Favorite Views or click to set it as the default view.
- All Issues: This view lists all of the issues in the project, regardless of their status.
- All Open: This view lists all of the open issues in the project, including overdue and currently due issues.
- All Closed: This view lists all of the closed issues in the project.
- My Open: This view lists all of the open issues that are assigned to the currently logged in user.
- My Closed: This view lists all of the closed issues that are assigned to the currently logged in user.
- Unassigned: This view lists all of the issues that are not assigned to any user.
- Overdue & Open: This view lists all of the issues that are past their due date and yet to be completed.
- Created Today: This view lists all of the issues that were created on the current day.
- Issues I Follow: This view lists all of the issues that the currently logged in user is following.
- Escalated Issues: This list lists all escalated issues based on the selected escalation levels.
- Assigned Via Pick List: This view lists all of the issues that have been assigned via a pick list.
- Issues Associated to Team: This view lists all of the issues that are associated with the currently logged in user's team.
Custom Views
Create
Custom Views to display issues that match specific criteria defined by you.
Submit Issue Inline
- Click , enter Issue title and click Enter/return on your keyboard.
- Click on the issue to open details page.
Manage Issues
- Click on the issue title to edit the issue name inline.
- Drag and drop issues from one status to another. This will update the status of the issue. The issue status will update only if the destination status is as per the workflow.
- Click to customize the columns views to default or compact view.
- Click to collapse and click expand all the issues.
- Click Show options drop-down to show Issue key, Image preview, and Bottom tray in the card.
- Use to search for and view issues filtered by specific issue details.
- Click to open issue details page.
- Click to change the status color.
- Hover over an issue, click to collapse the specific column and click to expand.
- Click on the date and time in the bottom tray of the issue to set the due date and time.
- Click user icon in the bottom tray of the issue to change the assignee.
- Click the comment icon () in the bottom tray of the issue to view, add, update, or delete existing comments.
- Click the attachment icon () in the bottom tray of the issue to view, add, or delete existing attachments.
- Click to manage both existing comments and attachments.
- Click to manage existing linked issues.
- Click to manage existing associated tasks.
- Click on the issue ID to copy it to the clipboard.

- Open Details in New Tab to open details page in a new tab.
- Copy Link to copy the issue URL to the clipboard.
- Follow to start following the issue and receive updates.
- Clone to create a replica of the issue.
- Move to move the issue to a different project.
- Delete to confirm and delete the issue.
- Notification Helper to access the Notification Helper and check if a user will receive notifications for a particular trigger event.
Start a timer for tasks
- Click in the bottom tray to start a timer for the issues. Click the pause button and click Update to log the issue duration.
- Click the stop button when the issue is complete.
- Select the issue as Billable or Non-billable, provide any relevant Notes, and specify the Cost per Hour.
- Click Update to save changes or click Remove to delete the timer.
Status Kanban
The Status Kanban shows Kanban board by status. Drag and drop issue cards across status to change issue status (if the destination status is as per the workflow). Each Kanban board represents a status.
- Select Status from the Kanban type drop-down.
- Hover over Status, then click to add a new status.
- Click to open the color palette and change the color of the status.
Severity Kanban
Severity Kanban displays issues by severity. Each board represents a severity.
- Click on the Kanban type drop-down and select Severity.
- Hovering over Severity in the drop-down will display the add icon (). Click on it to add severity.
- Drag and drop issues across Kanban boards to change their severity.
- Change issue status in Kanban cards by clicking the status dropdown and selecting the desired option.
Module Kanban
This view displays issues by their respective module.
- Click on the Kanban type drop-down and select Module.
- Hovering over Module in the drop-down will display the add icon (). Click on it to add a module.
- Drag and drop issues across Kanban boards to change their module.
- Change issue status in Kanban cards by clicking the status dropdown and selecting the desired option.
Classification Kanban
Click on the kanban type drop-down and select Classification.
- Hovering over Classification in the drop-down will display the add icon (). Click on it to add a classification.
- Drag and drop issues across Kanban boards to change their classification.
- Change issue status in Kanban cards by clicking the status dropdown and selecting the desired option.
Reproducible Kanban
This view displays issues by their nature of being reproducible.
- Click on the Kanban drop-down and select Reproducible.
- Hovering over Reproducible in the drop-down will display the add icon (). Click on it to add module.
- Drag and drop issues across Kanban boards to change their module.
- Change issue status in Kanban cards by clicking the status dropdown and selecting the desired option.
Bulk Update
- Check the box corresponding to the Issues, and click:
- Move: Select Project and click Move to transfer them to another project.
- Delete: Confirm your action and click Delete.
- Associate Tasks: Select tasks or type task titles to search and link them to the issue.
- Link Issues: Choose the link type and enter issue titles or IDs to connect related issues.
- Associated Team: Search for the team and click Update to associate them with the issue.
- Assignee: Select any user(s) from the dropdown to assign the issue to that individual.
- Tags: Manage tags by replacing, adding, switching, removing all, or removing selected ones.
- Due Date: Set the due date and time to specify a deadline for issue resolution.
- Status & Workflow: Edit the issue's status and workflow.
- Severity: Indicate the severity level from None, Show Stopper, Critical, Major, or Minor.
- Release Milestone: Associate the issue with a specific release milestone.
- Affected Milestone: Identify the affected milestone related to the issue.
- Module: Specify the module where the issue resides.
- Classification: Categorize the issue using None, Security, Crash/Hang, Data Loss, Performance, UI/Usability, Other Bug, or Feature(New), Enhancement.
- Reproducible: Indicate the issue's reproducibility from None, Always, Sometimes, Rarely, Unable, Never Tried, or Not Applicable.
- Flag: Set the issue flag to Internal or External based on its visibility level.
