Steps

How to change font

1. Select the document text.
   
2. Click the drop-down arrow next to the font option in the top tool bar and choose your preferred font.
   Alternatively, click Format > Text formatting > Font Family and choose your preferred font.
   
   
   

How to change font size

1. Select the document text.
   
2. Click the drop-down arrow next to the font size option in the top tool bar and choose your preferred font size.
   Alternatively, click Format > Text formatting > Font Size and choose your preferred font.
   
   
   

If your preferred font size is not displayed, you can manually enter it into the font size field.

How to change font color

1. Select your preferred text. 
2. Click the drop down arrow next to the Font Color icon in the top tool bar and choose your preferred color.
   
   

How to change font weight

1. Select the document text.
   
2. Click the drop-down arrow next to the font option in the top tool bar and choose your preferred font and the font's weight.
   Alternatively, click Format > Text formatting > Font Family and choose your preferred font and font's weight.
   
   

Font weights will be retained even when the document is downloaded or imported into your Writer account from other cloud drives.

How to search fonts based on name and language

1. Click the drop-down arrow next to the font option in the top tool bar > +Add New > From Font Library.
   
2. In the Fonts Library pop-up, you can type any font name in the search box to find the required fonts. Also, choose the language from the drop-down to see the fonts related to the selected language.
   
   

How to add or remove fonts

How to change the font set for headings and body text

1. Open your document in Zoho Writer.
   
2. Go to the Design tab.
   
3. Click Font set.
   
4. Do one of the following:
   
1. Select a preset font set from the list, or
   
2. Click Add Font Set to create a new one.
   
5. In the New Font Set dialog:
   
1. Choose a font for Headings.
   
2. Choose a font for Body text.
   
   Note: You can include a custom (local) font in a font set. When collaborating, other users must have the same font installed on their system to view it correctly. If the font is not available on their device, it will be replaced with a substitute font. For more info on custom fonts, refer.
   
   
   
   
   
   
6.  (Optional) Select Add this font set and also apply it to this document to apply it immediately.
7. Click Save.
   

How to change the color set for your document in Zoho Writer  

1. Open your document in Zoho Writer.
   
2. Go to the Design tab.
   
3. Click Color set.
   
4. Do one of the following:
   
1. Select a preset color set from the list, or
   
2. Click Add Color Set to create a new one.
   
5. In the New Color Set dialog:
   
1. Enter a name for the color set.
   
2. Define colors for Background, Text, and Accent fields.
   
3. Enter a Hex code or choose a color from the palette.
   
6. (Optional) Select Add this color set and also apply it to this document to apply it immediately.
   
7. Click Save.
