How to enable Multi-Factor Authentication?
Multi-Factor authentication in Cliq is an added mode of authentication to secure your account in addition to user name and password
To set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in Cliq:
- Navigate to Admin Panel -> Click on Policies under Permissions.
- Click on Authentication Modes and enable the ones required for your organization.
You can enable the following modes made available for authentication
- SMS: The verification codes will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Smartphone: This is a mobile application synced to your account which lets you generate codes to authenticate your sign-in, example: OneAuth.
- Push Notification: Notifications are sent to your Zoho OneAuth app in your registered mobile device each time you login. You can approve or reject the login request.
- QR Code: Scan a QR code visible on your browser via OneAuth mobile application.
- Time-based OTP: A time based, one time password will be generated in OneAuth application on your configured smartphone.
- Touch ID: OneAuth to verify your fingerprint every time you sign in.
- Click on Enforce TFA
When you disable the Multi-factor Authentication , you
will be redirected to accounts.zoho.com page for password authentication to complete the action.
Note:
You can disable Multi-factor Authentication within 180 seconds from the time of previous password authentication. For more details on Multi-factor Authentication click here.
