Customize the document editor in your web app!

Did you know you can customize Zoho Office Integrator's document editor in your app, according to your business needs, and improve the way you work? Read this article to learn about the document editor functionalities you can customize in Office Integrator.

A few functionalities that can be customized  in document editor

  • Default document settings: Set default formatting values such as Font Name, Page Orientation, and Page Size, for all new documents you create via Zoho Office Integrator by passing the desired values in the document_defaults parameter in the Editor API call.
  • Editor settings: Specify the units (inch or mm) of the document's ruler and set the document's default view type (page or web view) in the editor_settings parameter in the Editor API call.
  • Document permissions: Define a set of permissions for each collaborator of your document. Allow or revoke document export and print options, and enable or disable the in-doc chat panel to communicate between collaborators via the permissions parameter in the Editor API call.
In addition to these, you can also specify the output format in which you would like to save the opened/edited document via Zoho Office Integrator from within your app.
