Cache files minimize the startup time for the Outlook app. Outlook generates its own cache and data files. But if the files get corrupted, they prevent Outlook from syncing. So, try clearing the cache and data files. It will not delete your messages or personal data. 

 

  • Head to ‘Settings’ and tap ‘Apps’ on your phone.

  • Pick ‘Outlook.’ Then tap on ‘Storage.’

  • Here, click on the buttons for ‘Clear data’ and ‘Clear cache.’

  • Now, open Outlook again. Sign in and see if you are experiencing the syncing problem.
