Zoho finally introduced a timeline view to see all activities together in a chronological order. But it's still not usable for salespeople since you get all sorts of other background information that is not relevent to a salesperson. When I look at a contact I want to see the tasks, events, and emails all together but that's not possible with the current timeline view.
Can the timeline be made so that it's usable by people using the CRM. I don't need to see system information such as Webhook or when a field was updated.
My idea is that there would be a filter that you could toggle on/off all the items you want to see. The "Other" checkbox would include all the other fields that a sales person doesn't care about such as when a Webhook or Workflow rule was triggered. Click Apply to engage the filter. "Apply filter preferences to all records" means you wouldn't have to click and choose the same filters on each record, it would rememeber.
If this seems like a good solution please vote on this idea. Looking at the community posts - a feature that shows just the tasks, events and emails has been requested for many years now but still no real solution. Yet so may other CRM's have this ability.
