Setting up Save & Resume

When you share a form that has numerous questions, it might take a long time for your respondents to fill it out at one stretch. Sometimes, your respondents may not have all the details to complete a form in one go. In the worst case, your respondents fill out a long form, and before they could submit, they might lose their data due to network issues or other external factors. To avoid such scenarios , you can use the Save & Resume option in Zoho Forms.

To enable this option,
  1. In your form builder, navigate to the Settings tab.

  2. Click Save & Resume from the left menu and enable the option.

  3. Once enabled, a Save button will be available in the footer of each page in your form. You can change the Save Button Label according to your preference. For example, Continue Later .  
    When respondents save their form, they will see a popup with a link to their partially saved form as shown.

    They must save this link and use it later to resume filling their form. 

  4. If you wish to send a link to the saved form to your respondents via email, select  Allow respondents to receive saved form's link via email

  5. To edit the default email template provided, click Edit email template . You can change the email's subject and message according to your preference and click Done .

  6. Click Save .
