The Zoho Books and Uber for Business Integration is here!

We're excited to announce an integration between Zoho Books and Uber for Business. The integration has been rolled out for our Indian Customer, and we'll open it up for other regions in phases.
How does Zoho Books - Uber for Business help your organisation?
Many organisations have employees who travel to connect with prospective clients or engage with existing ones. One of the most convenient ways for them to commute is Uber. While Uber rides are a blessing for your travelling employees, they cause unnecessary stress to the employees who take care of reimbursements. An employee would typically take a ride with Uber and submit the ride receipts to the finance team at the end of the trip. The finance team would then manually record this in their books and processes the amount for reimbursement. Here are some challenges with that:
- The employee has to pay for the rides out of their pocket, collect the receipts, and then wait until the end of the month to receive a reimbursement.
- As the number of employees going on the trips increases, recording these expenses manually becomes very time-consuming.
- The finance team is responsible for processing the reimbursements with the correct amount and at the right time.
With the Zoho Books and Uber for Business integration, all your employees' Uber ride statements for the month are consolidated and imported as a single bill in Zoho Books. Thus employees don't have to worry about collecting receipts or waiting for reimbursements as the rides will be paid for directly by their organisation. This eliminates the need for manual data entry and helps the finance team process payments quickly.
How to integrate Zoho Books and Uber for Business
This integration follows a simple "bill to company" model. To set up this integration, you need to have a Zoho Books account and an Uber for Business account. (If you do not have an Uber for Business account, click here to create one). After this go to:
- Zoho Books > Settings > Integration > Uber Integration.
To set up the integration for your Zoho Books organisation, please follow the instructions in our help document. Once this is done, all your ride statements from Uber for Business will be generated as Bills in Zoho Books once a month.
